Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Mississauga

Me and my wife likes to visit Popeyes often, one of the biggest reason my 2 year old son lives the mashed potatoes they serve... I came to this dixie and eglinton location for the first time... they had new garlic pepper wicked chicken on the menu, me and my wife wanted to try it and so we were there to have it.

We reached there 9:20 and still more people were coming in.... we found a place to sit right away and so we decided to order... when asked for garlic pepper chicken we were told they ran out of it... the next thing I ordered mashed potatoes, I was told that since we are closing soon we don’t have anymore of mashed potatoes. Now if you are open you should have the full menu just because you are about to close in 40 mins someone decided to not to prepare mashed potatoes anymore.

Anyways I just got two pcs of chicken biscuit and Mac n cheese

They had my order in no time and they packed my order... I told them I want to have it here, upon which she said we are closing soon and the other side of the restaurant is closed because we have cleaned it already... now I was so pissed off, I told them we have a place to sit already and why do you even run this business when you don’t want to welcome people...

They didn’t even gave us a tray....

Now you all can understand y I gave them lowest rating... poor customer service, very...

I do understand that the times are really tough right now and every ketchup pouch, napkin and a hot sauce pouch counts. Regardless if a customer like me who is spending 50 bucks on a take out order. Who has no interest in using your facilities or forks or spoons or sault pouches or your pepper pouches etc.

I understand you are not using official Popeyes receipts so people like myself who write review will be so frustrated that they would just give up.

Anyways, I would request you to put a sign out if anyone spending 50 dollars they have ask 3 times or more to get many be handful of sauce pouches or ketchup pouch.

I would suggest you take a trip next door with whom you share the same wall spend 50 bucks and see you much napkins and other things you get without asking.

Or walk only a block north to Galito's and see what happens after spending 50 bucks.

In a very calm and in very professional manner I think I have made my point across.

Absolutely horrendous delivery service. First, the delivery location is 5 minutes away according to google maps. That's important to note - 5 MINUTES AWAY.

I called to place an order for a large bucket. They said 30-40 minutes to deliver, fine. At 45 minutes, I called, "Driver will be there in 5 minutes". Called again after 10 minutes, "Sorry sir, driver will actually be there in 5 minutes from now". 10 minutes later, called again - at this point they stopped picking up after (I'm assuming) recognizing my number.

I could have raised a chicken, slaughtered it, feathered it, fried it and delivered it to myself faster than the hour it took them to deliver it to a location 5 minutes away.
