I wish I could rate them negative. It takes a lot for me to get upset. But the rude and stubborn response that I got from this restaurant is something that I have never seen elsewhere. I ordered a Buffalo cauliflower pizza from them via doordash and they made it with BBQ sauce. When I called them to complain, not only did they refuse to accept that something went wrong, they blamed us that we don't know what Buffalo sauce tastes like. I asked them to send me another pizza coz no one was going to eat the BBQ sauce. They told me they are working with the merchant. After no response from them for 30 minutes I just go to doordash which return me $5 for a $20 pizza. The host then calls me back that because I put the complaint on doordash she cannot comp me but she will give me a complimentary pizza whenever I come in or order online again. Lo and behold I tried to order from them and they refuse to honor the promise and just decide to decline my calls. The solution is that I go to the store. The manager who promised me comp mentioned she would put a note for staff on different shift so this can be honored but when I call them they say the manager said we didn't like the pizza. Way to go! Blame the customer! From mentioning that their Buffalo sauce is different to blaming it on my taste buds I am furious about the customer service that I got. I am not dying for a pizza here but not acknowledging a mistake and putting the blame on the customer is insane. Beware and order at your own risk coz they won't accept...
Read moreSo I ordered here from Uber eats on Thursday for two large pizzas. But I canceled my order within 5 minutes of the order. Let me repeat. Within 5 minutes. Ubereats then refused to give me any refund or credit because they claimed that your “restaurant policy” is that you charge the entire amount for a cancelled order. So you’re telling me within the 5 minutes of my order placed you prepared 2 whole large pizzas that you & ubereats felt the need to charge me $55?? Realistically I highly doubt even the dough was put on the table within 5 minutes. it is very selfish and unfair of your restaurant “policy “ to charge a customer an entire meal charge just because they cancelled within 5 minutes of the order time frame. If I cancelled 10 -15 minutes later then yes for “fairness” I would accept your policy with Uber eats charging me for the entire order that I will also never be compensated for or have the meal. I’d like to know what I did was so unfair to your restaurant for allowing Uber eats to charge me an entire meal of two large pizzas cancelled only within 5 minutes. Kinda like stealing or taking credit for something you’ve never done. Also, talking to Uber eats customer service was a total waste of time as well, they refused to communicate with me and just copy pasted the same messages but realistically couldn’t even form 1 sentence of a proper typed up...
Read moreMy recent order from Rapizza on Dixie Road in Mississauga left much to be desired.
I ordered two pizzas: one with pineapple, ham, and bacon strips, and another with mushrooms, pepperoni, and bacon strips.
Unfortunately, with the exception of the pineapple and mushrooms, I was utterly confused by the "meat" toppings.
Despite my best efforts to identify them through sight, smell, and taste, I couldn't discern what I was eating. There were no "strips" of anything. Instead, what should have been ham and bacon were uniform cubes, and the pepperoni was presented as discs that almost, but not quite, resembled actual pepperoni. The taste certainly didn't match ham, bacon, or pepperoni.
Beyond the perplexing toppings, the crust was rubbery, and while the cheese and sauce were passable, they couldn't salvage the overall experience. This was certainly not what I consider good pizza, and the mystery meat issue was particularly off-putting. See for yourself; can you find the "bacon strips"?
On a positive note, the staff was friendly, which was appreciated. However, that alone isn't enough to make up for such a confusing and unsatisfying pizza. RAPiZZA on Dixie Road is...
