Great products. HORRIBLE customer service. Several weeks ago I had called in advance to place an order for the Dubai chocolate as well as the viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cups. I was driving in the nearby vicinity and told their employee I’d be there around 7:15pm. He advised to pick the items up between 7:30-8pm. I killed time in my car until 8pm when I entered the store to pick my order up. Both women assisting me at the counter were utterly clueless that I had placed the order and eventually found out their supplier was a no show, so therefore I would not receive my order. The older woman there was chuckling and smiling which I found incredibly rude as she took this matter lightly. They spoke to the manager, I left my contact details, and walked out with some complementary baklava pastries. The manager contacted me on my drive home and apologized stating they should have called me in advance to inform me that my order wouldn’t be available. I thanked her for her call, and understand mistakes happen, also assured her I wouldn’t be writing a google review since she made it right with me. However the last & final straw for me was this past Sunday, February 23rd/2025 at approx 3:30pm. I had called to inquire if they had the Dubai chocolate and the lady at Crown Pastries who answered the phone was SO RUDE. her responses were “No.. No..I don’t know…Not sure”. I’ve had it with them. Never intend on visiting them every again. They’ve tainted my experience not only once, but twice, 2 out of 2. For all your sweet tooth needs head to KUNAFA in Mississauga, or Golden Grainz in Brampton. Their products and customer service is top notch first class. Especially Golden Grainz bakery sells freshly delicious desserts including the Dubai Chocolate and their viral cups. Above all, their customer service is friendly, polite, and very prompt, UNLIKE...

Disappointed with Service & Lack of Organization at Crown Pastries😡

I had a terrible experience trying to order the Dubai Kunafa Strawberry Cup at this store. On Tuesday, I was told I needed to call the next day to reserve for Thursday. I called multiple times—morning, noon, and afternoon—but no one answered. When I finally got through, they said the list was full and to call again tomorrow. When I asked for the best time to call, the staff just kept repeating “tomorrow, tomorrow.”

I followed their instructions and called again, only to get the same runaround—no answer most of the day. When I finally spoke to someone, they told me to call the next day, as extra portions might be available. On Friday, I called, and they confirmed my order was ready. I drove 35 minutes to pick it up, only to be told it was never available that day because it wasn’t delivered. They apologized and assured me, “For sure, tomorrow you’ll get it.”

Later that evening, around 8 PM, they called to say my order was now ready, but they were closing at 10 PM. Since they had already told me to pick it up on Saturday, I asked if they could hold it for the next day. They refused, saying the strawberries would go bad. At that point, I was beyond frustrated.

I had been misled multiple times, wasted hours calling, and drove 35 minutes for nothing. Even when I asked for a clear answer, I kept getting vague responses like “Just call tomorrow.” The lack of organization and poor customer service at this store is beyond disappointing.

Crown Pastries used to be my favorite, but after this, I won’t be returning to any of their stores. Even on the day I drove there, I bought other pastries just to avoid going home empty-handed. Customers deserve better communication, respect,...

After a long drive from Ottawa to Windsor, we decided to take a break in Mississauga and were craving some Lebanese pastries. That’s when we found Crown Pastries, and I’m so glad we did – this place is absolutely amazing!

The variety they offer is outstanding. From all kinds of baklawa to knefe, puddings, and even fresh juices, Crown Pastries has it all. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they put pride and tradition into their work.

We ordered a bunch of different items, and every single one of them was delicious. The baklawa was perfectly balanced with sweetness and crunch, the knefe was rich and comforting, and the puddings were smooth and satisfying. On top of that, the fresh juices were the perfect complement to all the desserts.

What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make our visit special. They even offered us samples of different pastries so we could try more of what they had to offer, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The shop itself is very clean, inviting, and full of tempting displays that make you want to try everything. Prices are also fair for the quality and variety you’re getting.

Overall, Crown Pastries is a gem in Mississauga. If you’re anywhere in the area and craving authentic Lebanese sweets, this is the spot to visit. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I pass through – it’s worth the...

DO NOT BELIEVE THE HIGH RATING YOU SEE HERE BECAUSE IT IS ALL FORCED REVIEWS. Here is my initial review as they forced me to make a fake review when I was trying to buy their dubai chocolate & strawberry cups. I was first asked If I spoke arabic at the cash register, after declining I was told they were refusing to sell me their desserts unless I had reviewed them positively. Which is ridiculous considering at the time I hadn’t even tried it. This discriminative behaviour is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. When it comes to your desserts, I had bought 3 cups so my husband, my daughter and i could each have one. We couldn’t even finish one cup all three of us. It tasted so bad and the strawberries in the cup had been waiting there for a while and started to become acidic. It was a waste of money and time to go there. They think forcing people to make fake reviews will get them more customers in the future but in the actual reality we live in their low quality desserts will only make them lose more and more business over the time. If you check reviews carefully since all of these are forced reviews you will see people being handed moldy foods and offered refund in terms of another fake review. I will never be visiting this place again and you should never too!

Crown Pastries has been a longtime favourite for my family and I. We’ve been loyal customers for years, especially for their exceptional baklava and kunafa. Every visit to the neighbourhood includes a stop for a small box of their rich, crunchy, nut-filled delights that never fail to disappoint. More recently, I found myself pleasantly surprised by one of their newer offerings, the chocolate-covered strawberry cups. I was initially skeptical of the whole "Dubai chocolate" trend, as it had never appealed to me before, even after trying similar viral versions elsewhere. But after my sister insisted we try Crown Pastries’ version, I gave in and I’m so glad I did. These cups are decadent, bursting with flavour, and perfectly balanced in texture. I finally understand the hype, but I can confidently say it only makes sense at Crown Pastries. Every bite is pure indulgence, and I find myself savouring each one to the very last. I’ve never found myself raving about a dessert like this before, but it’s genuinely that good. Absolutely worth the drive, the wait, or even a detour. The staff are always friendly and happy to offer suggestions. While we typically take our orders to go, I’ve noticed the seating area is cozy and perfect for those who prefer to dine in. Highly recommend.
