Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Mississauga

Consistently the worst Popeyes restaurant I've been to. I live so close-by which is really disappointing, because lately I always choose to take the drive up Dixie to Aimco where the food and service are much better.

This location is never clean, the staff are always clearly disorganized and I often see managers trying to juggle multiple roles in order to compensate for what appears to simply be a lack of instruction or an inability to effectively delegate.

The biggest criticism however is the food, this location will be a 20-30 minute wait for almost any order. Running out of Spicy Chicken on a week-night at dinner time makes no sense whatsoever, shouldn't it occur to somebody that 5-7pm is likely to be peak business hours? And if the staff give you an estimate of "ten to fifteen minutes", expect 30. There would be at least some small room for redemption, if the oil weren't consistently burnt. You'll find the chicken and fries are markedly darker than other Popeyes locations - this is because the oil is not changed frequently enough, resulting in poor flavour and inferior cook-quality.

I have to updated my reviews after 2-3 weeks. Their services has been improved and efficient . They served us equally. I am appreciated . They seems listen the customer's concern. Thanks your very much. I would definitely come back again because the quality of fried chicken are more fresh and juicy .

I like the quality of fried chicken at this place, but I had a bad experience last week with the manager Saima. I have family of 4. Each member of the family ordered two FREE pieces of Chicken when we bought a large soft drink before the Toronto Maple Leafs Games on Saturday. My order number was #108. We have been waiting for more than 30 minutes. They called #202 already. We were still waiting. When I asked why my order was not placed on sequentially, she said my chicken was free. She also had an excuse that we ordered spicy . All the customer ordered mild ahead of us. No one told us that we have to wait that long. Normally, the cashier would tell us there will be 10 minutes of wait time. So I am so disappointed actually with this location for Popeyes . Yesterday I wanted to get the chicken sandwich that everyone is talking about . So I finally decided to try it ! I regret for even trying to come again to this location . Couple years ago I got food poisoning from the chicken not being cooked properly lol. And after that didn’t want Popeyes ever again however I wanted to give it a chance again and had the chicken sandwich again and yet again it was not COOKED ! I felt so sick the chicken looks like RUBBER !!! I will attach a photo I just can’t believe you think this is real chicken ! Tastes like a sponge wasn’t cooked through at all ! The worse 7$ I spent in a long time !
