Mississauga Aquarium — Local services in Mississauga

Em... I dunno what the reviews here are on about. It was not a clean facility, other than the tanks. This place is like walking into a damp dungeon. The fish tanks are absolutely bare with no substrate, plants, or decor. The fish just exist in rectangles of water until someone hopefully buys them.

The bettas were in seriously poor condition. They were in these glass jar vase things, but the water was filthy and the tails on most of them were either falling off or bitten off. They looked sickly, like they were forgotten. It's so sad, seeing how much care they put towards their discus and then you look at the bettas and they are in a worse state than petsmart.

If you are here for anything other than fish or food, you are going to be buying old inventory that has been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long.

They were topping up the tanks when I got there, so they had a massive hose on the floor in their narrow aisle, and it was wet. It was quite the trip hazard, and I didn't see the hose initially as it's dark in there. There were no caution signs or anything. I just turned a corner and stumbled...

I recently have found this place. And all I have to say about this place is that it is the BEST place I have been so far. PRICE: I have been to so many other Petstore/Aquarium store, but this place's price I find it very cheap. Nothing can beat their prices. FISH: all the fishes were in great shape, I bought angel fish from them and they are doing great in my Aquarium at the moment. Then I went there again to buy some other fish! STAFF: All the staff there was very friendly and easy going. I met one lady and 2 gentlemen (don't know their names though) they were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very patient and explained me in detail how to take care of the fish and also gave detailed instructions on how to treat one of my sick fish. Which was nice.

I will definitely come only to this place from now on.
