Punjabi Dhaba — Restaurant in Mississauga

We had the pleasure of working with Punjabi Dhaba for the live catering of our backyard wedding reception, and it was truly the best catering experience we’ve ever had. From start to finish, Aman and his team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The dinner service followed the menu we had decided on perfectly, and every dish tasted absolutely incredible.

One of the highlights of the evening was the food truck they brought. It was such a lovely touch, as all of the food was cooked fresh, live at the reception, and served right on time. The freshness and quality were simply outstanding, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it.

What truly impressed us was how they went out of their way to accommodate a few guests who had dietary restrictions that we weren't even aware of. Without hesitation, they prepared fresh, customized dishes for these guests, a gesture that was completely unexpected but deeply appreciated.

Their willingness to help didn’t stop there. When we ran out of ice for our bar service (provided by a separate vendor), they offered to send one of their staff to pick up more, saving my brother from having to leave the reception.

From the delicious food to their incredible attention to detail and care, Punjabi Dhaba made our wedding day even more special. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional catering with a personal touch.

Ever since my first visit here in April 2021 when dining-in was not allowed due to pandemic restrictions, I have had a number of dishes here: From Aloo parathas, channa batura, snacks such as pakodas, bread pakodas, vegetarian thaali items such as saagh, shahi paneer, bhindi masala, sweet dishes such as gulab jamun and gajar halwa, piping hot masala chai and more.

Till date, neither did the food nor the lovely family and staff running the restaurant has ever disappointed me in any way. Not only do their food taste completely fresh, homemade and even blessed, the warm reception by the family owners of the place along with the service received from the hardworking staff here complements your meal very well.

Now that the dine-in service has recently resumed, I can confirm that there were no compromises made to the portion sizes or the quality of the dishes when take-out was the only option.

Overall, I can say that this is my favourite spot for any North Indian dishes, be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian, or just a cup of chai with some snacks. In terms of prices, they are very reasonable and perhaps value for money if you were to consider the freshness and authenticity of the food that...
