Silva's BBQ — Restaurant in Mississauga

I recently got a meal from Silva's BBQ through the Too Good To Go app, and I have to say—I was blown away by the quality and portion size! The meal was incredibly generous, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could really tell it was made with care.

We also ordered the chicken meal with rice and vegetables, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the veggies added a nice balance to the plate. Everything tasted homemade and comforting.

What really made the experience even better was the lady at the counter—she was super friendly, welcoming, and sweet. She took the time to explain everything and made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers.

This was my first time here. The place is more of a cafeteria style setup where all the dishes are pre cooked ahead of time and sit in heated trays. I stopped by just after noon and there was no pasta or veal/chicken parmagane left (sold out already) which was disappointing as it was basically peak lunch hour time. I ended up getting fish and chips ($8) and it was pretty bad. Fries were ok but the fish was super over cooked and tasted slimy and horrible, the batter/breading was even worse. It was probably one the worst fish and chips I've ever tried. The place is small with some seating, there is also lots of parking available. They always have one type of pasta that is a penne with red sauce, chicken, and cheese. Today it was not on the hot table so the gentlemen with the glasses and moustache offered to make me some. I ordered pasta and I got just that. I called back and asked where the chicken was and he responded by saying you didn't ask for it. If there is only one kind of pasta always available ofc I'm not going to specify! I was never informed of any other options. He blamed me and I've been a loyal customer for over a year. This guy does not know what customer service is.. how can the customer be wrong when you simply could have stated the options. He didn't even try to resolve when I called a second time.
