Sizzlo'z Flame Grilled Chicken — Restaurant in Mississauga

I would give this place a 0 star if i could, don't go here no matter what!! We used to be regular customers. They used to have amazing service and food was great. But recently their services and food has become terrible. We ordered chicken wings about two weeks ago and asked them to make it well done because my kids do not eat chicken unless its well done. Even after continuously asking the chef to make it well done, and getting constant reassurance that it will be done exactly how we want, it was completely pink and red from the inside, causing my whole family to lose their appetite. We proceeded to call them and let them know of this issue, and asked to speak to the managers (who we always ordered from), they began attacking us and saying it was well done and it wasn't their fault thats how the chicken looked. I gave them my number to call me, and told them I wanted a call within a week, which they said will happen, two weeks later and still no call. So I called them today to ask to speak to the owners, and they said they would not be taking any calls from me, and they said that the owners of the restaurant made a request that no orders were to be done for me. The guy on the other line, named Amir, said he was the manager and conveyed this news to me. He even started saying that he does not work for me, and does not take orders from me on how I want my chicken done. He then started attacking me more, said this was causing him too much stress, and closed the phone on my face. When I called again after about 30 minutes and asked to speak to the owners, the lady over the phone asked who was speaking, and after telling her my name, she said she was given direct orders from Anita and Adnan (the owners) not to take orders from anyone under this name. When I asked if this was true, and asked to speak to the owners, she started taking back her words and said she could not tell me who gave her these orders. Moral of the story, if u want a stressful time, horrible service, and your food not done how you like, then by all means come here. But there are definitely better places to get food than here. I have photos of the pink/red checken i ordered which no one will accept eating! I dont know how to post it here..

Firstly, just wanted to clear the air, that we were never offered free food, and even if we were, we wouldn’t accept it because we wanted to support your business during these tough times, and the owners know that very well. Today I purchased a meal for my family of 6. Prior to going I asked, verifierd and confirmed the portion size as to how many people I would be feeding and I was told that the "double" plater would be MORE then enough, so we ordered. I had to double check the bag thinking there were items misssing because it was so small. I couldn't believe that they were trying to convince me that a small container of yellow basmati rice that you get as a single serving at Chinese restaurants was for a family of 6. A single serving of salad that you would get at Wendy's would be more then enough for a family of 6 because it's not the main course it's only a side. Oh and the 10 small potatoes, smaller then a golf ball would be more then enough for 2 men and 4 women. He said we would serve one or 2 potatoes per person, and that's what they serve at there restaurant for a family of 6 or even 7. I asked him to please put the rice on a plate and then asked if he still thinks that would feed 6 - 7 people, the portion would only feed max 2 people. He then asked the cook to give me another rice realizing what I was saying was true, it was clearly not enough for 6-7 adults, and I asked the same about the potatoes and he also asked to give me an order of fries, which was nice of him but I shouldn't have to fight to get what I was told I was going to get which is enough food for 6 people.

Most importantly IT'S NOT PORTUGUESE FOOD. How do I know because we have eaten Portuguese food in Portugal and my family is Portuguese so please trust me when I say you are being deceived. It's Indian food being past as Portuguese. The small potatoes ARE NOT PORTUGUESE I told the lady and she argued that they were, until the owner looked at her and CONFIRMED in front of me that they are in fact NOT Portuguese potatoes. As well as the rice, it's basmati with yellow seasoning.

All in all the owner was courtious, and kind and the chicken was good but what I got was NOT what I was told would feed 6 people. And was NOT Portuguese food as they claim. We even had to make extra rice.

So would I go back for the rice and potatoes NEVER. Would I go back for the chicken and fried probably not, it was good but not great
