Read moreI am writing to express my concern and disappointment over an incident I witnessed at your store involving a customer and one of your baristas, AG.
While visiting the store recently (Wednesday June 11th) with my husband and children, I witnessed AG politely ask a male customer to move his truck as it was causing an obstruction. Rather than responding respectfully, the customer became verbally abusive. He told her to "shut up" and "mind your business," and went so far as to call her a "B." He continued by stating, "You cannot tell me to move it, do your job and mind your business."
Despite the aggression, AG handled the situation with professionalism and grace. She remained calm and chose not to serve the customer due to his inappropriate and abusive behavior—a decision I fully support.
As a female customer, I was deeply offended by the man’s behavior. It was completely unacceptable and created an uncomfortable environment for everyone present, including my young children. I have been coming to this location regularly on Wednesdays while my daughter attends dance class nearby. It is usually a welcoming and positive space, and AG has consistently been one of the most friendly and polite baristas I’ve interacted with.
I hope this matter is taken seriously and that the safety and dignity of your employees—and customers—is prioritized. Thank you for maintaining a space where respect and...
Read moreI had the worst experience ever at this Starbucks location. I've frequently visited Starbucks for the past several years and have never come across such rude employee...until I visited this location. I was standing with a couple of my friends, next to our car in the parking lot. Due to my age, I was a bit tired so I leaned against the patio railing. In all my years..I've never seen anyone get attacked for doing such a simple thing. To my surprise, an employee at this location rushed out and yelled that I was "not welcome at his store!" I did not react in the moment, simply because I was shocked. Not only was I surprised that he would so aggressively yell at me (an older individual) while I was just standing with my friends but I was also shocked that this employee felt that my actions made him express that I am "not welcome at his store." In all my years, I have never come across such a bizarre, yet discriminatory encounter. Was it because of my old age or the fact that I am middle eastern and have an accent? Who knows. All I know is that I was just talking to my friends in front of a Starbucks I have attended many times and a Starbucks' employee started screaming at me. I was a regular customer at this location but I will never go back..who knows what this employee will yell about next? I sent a complaint to Starbucks customer service and they did not help me at all....
