Terrible Scheduling and Horrible Customer Service
We arrived at terminal 3 around midnight and the kids were hungry. At this time, there are only three locations open: Tim Hortons, Wendy’s and Subways, so we thought the decision was semi obvious. We stood in line and when it was our turn, one of the two guys, Meet, said they had no sandwiches (zero) and they only had three wraps (we were eight in our group). After the discouraging news, he added “if you want to wait, it will be two hours”. Some of us decided to wait. Two hours passed, and bread was not ready yet. Another 30 minutes passed, and still no bread. My sister-in-law, who happens to work at a Subway location in Calgary, called the guys to inquire on the status of the bread, and their answer was it was not ready yet, even though the bread had been removed from the oven 20+ minutes before, and if they were hungry they could go to location at terminal 1. Are you serious? After three hours, Meet and Keetan resumed their operations. Why would a location claim they can provide a 24-hour service if their service is not available to their customers? Why did they run out of bread? Poor scheduling? Poor commitment? Assuming this location could not make enough bread due to high demand in the earlier hours, why wouldn’t the owner/s of this franchise take this into consideration and add another staff member to ensure hiccups like this will never happen? Our visit to this Subway resulted in one of the worst...
Read moreracist employees It is 0:37 AM. While traveling to Vancouver, I made the decision to stop at the subway store. However, the girl who works there informed me that the store is closed in such a bad humiliating tone, even before I entered. I was like at least pay attention to what we're saying. We decided to go to Tim Hortons instead, and a few seconds later, she was entertaining two White customers. And an Asian guy buy saying "hey be in line want to place an order " To white guys. She saw me coming and trying to avoid eye contact & was trying to hide by putting items here and there till we left while we were talking about what had just transpired. Since we are "Indians," we were humiliated & sent away like a trash. This is totally intolerable in Canada, a supposed diverse nation. I want management to act and provide feedback. Kindly send me an email. It was humiliating and I want action personally from her...
