The Famous Owl of Minerva — Restaurant in Mississauga

I placed an pick up order on Jan 7, 9:05 pm on huontario location. I got a really bad traffic so I was there right at 10pm. The staff was very rude and telling me I should came earlier to pick it up. I’m a regular at owl and owl is always my first choice if I wanna late night food. But this experience was really bad and I think u should do something. I came within the opening hours on google. So I’m sorry that I didn’t come within 20 min but it’s still within the business hour shows on the google. Apparently, the staff wants to leave earlier but I believe if it says u guys close at 10 on google, they have to stay till 10pm anyways. Also, I called them that I’ll be there at 10 as a heads up and asked if it’s okay. When I walked in, the lady was gave me a lesson says I should come earlier. I mean, who ordered and come late on purpose. And she didn’t even listen to what I explained. When I showed her the business hour on google and I was on time. She was saying who believed google nowadays. Excuse me??? If no one is checking it, just close the google site. I have been a customer with owl for years and it never happen before. It’s my first time visiting this location and I’m really really disappointed. So if this location close earlier than 10pm, just changed it on the google. Or I think maybe the staff has to be retrained. As a customer, I walked in within your business hours, I wasn’t expecting that I will get a lesson from the staff worked there that when should I picked up my order. I’m not an person who writes bad reviews but I really hope u guys can...

REQUIRED 20%TIP / DISRESPECTFUL/HORRIBLE STAFF

Of all OWL OF MINERVA that we went , this was the WORST RESTAURANT LOCATION EVER !!!!!! The food was really great ! But minus the staff. Me and my partner went for dinner after we ate , When i billed out this was what happened ..

Cashier : your total is 60$ Me : okay + * giving 5$ tip * Cashier : really ? Why you only give 5$ atleast 20% you have to give for the tip, is the service bad ? Me : excuse me ? Is the 5$ tip isnt enough though? Cashier : but why? Is the service bad ? Me : The food was great but really? Is the 20% tip required every dine in here ? You didnt even take a look at me when i want something ! I always raised my hand because i wanted to order something like atleast coke , instead of raising my hand i went over the counter just to ask something , but you insisted i should grab it by myself Ps : theres a note from the cooler says " please ask for the staff if you need something "

Cashier : okay just pay ( didnt do anything ) * handed the machine *

She still ask for the 20% tip So i told her theres 2 options either ill give you 5$ Or NO TIP.

I paid off and she slammed the receipt into the table counter .

What a horrible experienced!!! Guys , if youre craving for korean food near the area , I suggest to go to BUK CHANG DONG they are better rather than going here !!!!

Shame on you! I just forgot to ask her name ! I always give a good tip but what happened today, was really upsetting me and my partner , Lesson learned.. Im not going to this place ever...
