A&W Canada — Restaurant in Mississauga

The hamburgers i bought was with only little fried onions,the Onions make the buddy burger,no napkins on my tray! I know you can get them The young woman was kind,she asked me to give a Google review,so am doing this the best and most honest way possible. The place was as far as i could see clean my table was not sticky but No Music for the Atmosphere! Very important to put on a nice Tune that’s part of the pleasant visit. Next visit I’ll be more observant and i hope they will take this review as a motivational step to keep their standards high on food quality customer service and especially hygiene ! I also must admit that A&W should bring more Atmosphere into the restaurants to make every visit more special. The product is Good but i miss (Greatness) and (🇨🇦pride in the the business)hope the regional manager is willing to take on this challenge to make this burger business great again! (raise the flag 🇨🇦 by raising the standard) One thing i miss in every business all over Canada is the Old Fashion Pride of the products we sell ! Like to see the Canadian Flag more ! Like to see people have Pride in what they’re doing giving a smile from their heart not because they have too,but because they want to make the customer feel special because they came to their business and spend their time and money there

PLEASE that everyone in these hard times may be kind to One & Other from their heart’ let’s make Canada the Greatest again !

This place is horrible! I have been here on a number of occasions because its handy to work, so I've let a number of things go.

In the past I always ask for no tomatoes and yet some how I still have tomatoes on my burger, I always get a poutine and my fries are soggy from swimming in gravy.

Those are a constant occurrences with this A&W not to mention this restaurant is dirty and unhygienic.

Today I went through the drive thru to get myself some lunch before work. There was literally ONE car, I repeat one car in front of me. After the car left to go to the window I pulled up to the speaker I sat there for 5 minutes before being allowed to give my order.

After putting my order in I proceeded to the window, the ONE car was still sitting there. I waited 20 minutes for that one car to get his food.

When I got to the window, I got no apologies, no meal on the house. I just paid thinking my food has to be ready by now.

It was not I waited 5 more minutes, finally I told them to refund my money.

It literally took me 30 minutes and if I was able to turn around I would have earlier.

Like I said, they didnt even do anything to try to compensate me for the time and for being late to work..

McDonald's would have at least given a free meal.

So...

Really sad to leave a bad review but I can't get over what happened the other week so I wanted to say something. Hopefully the staff will somehow see this and not make the same mistake again.

I ordered for my family from the drive-thru and ended up ordering something that took them awhile to make as they made me pull to the side. Not a problem as I understand some things may take longer. She ended up giving me the iced slush root beers at the window. I waited almost 10 minutes for the food and by the time they came to my car 90% of the slush had melted. I asked the lady who brought the order out if she minded to use the cups to refill - I said I didnt touch them and its completely melted as I waited here. She said no and gave some random excuse that the machine dosent produce 100% slush. If I wanted a plain root beer I would have ordered that... I know it really wouldn't have cost them a ton, and they could see how it melted and how long I waited. I just think this is really poor customer service. I went home to my family being disappointed they didn't get to try the new slush root beer, they got melted regular root beer instead. (I live 5 minutes away)

I'm just really disappointed and will not be...
