I visited this place with a few friends last Friday, arrived at 7pm. Pretty bad service, maybe due to the place being packed. I had to signal a waitress in order to get a drinks menu. And after 47 minutes, she still hadn't come back to take our orders. I signaled the host and asked him to send a waitress our way. He was very rude, simply turned the other way. I couldn't tell if he was going to do something about it or not. But he did and a waitress came. She took our orders and we decided to order food together with the drinks because, who knew when she'd be back, right? Well, it turns out after 1hour and 30minutes we still got nothing, not even water. Again we had to signal someone and complain. Finally we we got our drinks a few minutes after that. Food came after 2houra of arriving, give or take. But not all the same time. One of our friends got her food after another had already finished eating. Food was pretty good. The lobster ravioli was nice, although too sweet for my taste. Portion is not too big, but more than enough for me. I couldn't finish it all. Drink was very bland (I had a bellini, probably won't order again). I've been here before and had a experience, but this time it was terrible, not sure why. Other tables seemed to be getting normal service.

We came here as part of a celebration for my sister's birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better place to do so! The food portions, including the appetizers, were very generous in size and aptly priced for its quality. The cocktails and beer options are well crafted and chosen, sporting such choices as Stiegl, Stella Artois and Peach Martinis and Bellinis. Honestly, even just ordering the appetizer and having a salad with some chicken added I was wonderfully full! You cannot go wrong with any of the menu items! We had a minor delay with one of our party members but the staff were very patient and understanding, not to mention funny! Denada was our waitress for the evening and we were very pleased and appreciative of her in every way. She was quick to arrange seats for our party of 7, she was very knowledgeable with our dish choices and drink suggestions, and (as mentioned before) very entertaining as a whole! We've come to know her pretty well throughout the evening, so forgive me if this is a review of not only the food but the staff as well. But truly, she deserves all the praise from us and future customers!

This was my 2nd visit. First time was during the pandemic but this time, we went for my brother's birthday, we arrived at the restaurant for 7:30 for dinner and the service was terrible. We left by 10:30. There was only one server who was waiting 6 tables and he basically didn't care that we were there. It was really disappointing as we felt we were not given an exceptional service. We spent almost 200$ and I didn't enjoy my meal because half the time I was letting my server know, we have no received our appetizers or where is our water, or drinks and food? People who had arrived after us, ate and had gone home, we were still waiting on food. My compliments to the chef as the food was delicious. I hope the owner either adds more server or understands the problem here that caused my friends to reconsider revisting to their restaurant. P.s. do not get the mushroom soup, it was very bland and not flavorful

My friends and I came here for dinner and this place was so perfect! Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, HUGE portions, and very good prices!! We were all so surprised by the amount of food we all got and what we paid! I had a glass of their house red wine and even that was 9 oz. And only $6.95!!! It was GOOD wine too! I ordered the mussels in saffron cream sauce which was not only so yummy but also such a big portion that I could barely finish. I'm pretty sure I got over 30 mussels! I also got fried calamari which was one of the best I've had in awhile. My friend ordered the seafood risotto which I'm definitely getting next time! I'm still thinking about it. Another friend had the squash lobster ravioli and it was delicious! To top it off, our waitress was super friendly! Love this place! Highly recommend! Keep it up Open Cork!!!

Best patio in town. Hands down the two large patios under beautiful umbrellas are the cosiest summer spot anywhere in the city!!!!! The Open Cork has great atmosphere, consistently wonderful food, great selection of drinks. I've been a patron since 2003 and the quality of food has always been held to the very high standards! The service may be relaxed at times, somewhat European, but it's always friendly and courteous and I have never had any complaints. One of the two owners is usually available, very approachable, willing and ready to solve seating dillemas for larger groups, or booking some space for birthday parties. Definitely check it out as your New Years venue. I have had a great time there.

Wow. I'm just so happy to have found it. Risotto was super amazing. ❤️❤️I enjoyed the pita hummus too. Drinks were yummy. I overall had a great time. It is quite crowded sometimes. I enjoyed thoroughly.
