Drive-through today at 3:20 PM Wednesday, February 20 I specifically just asked for an ice cap two donuts and a ham sandwich with no tomatoes and extra mayo. The person at the drive-through took my order repeated my order perfect fine he was great. My problem is once I received my order and drove off, I had no mayo on my sandwich. since I had just picked the kids up, it took me 15 minutes to drive back to get my order correct? I decide to go in to speak to the manager the managers name as she said her name was Lata says OK I’ll put mayo on your sandwich. She grabs the sandwich from my hand and proceeds to splat mayo six rows of it , excessive amount of mayo on my sandwich! So I politely say her I’m sorry, but that is an excessive amount of mayo and she tells me well it’s supposed to be two lines of mayo when you asked for extra mayo. so that is four lines of mail and I’m like yes but I just watched you put squeeze out 66 lines of mayo! could you please just make the sandwich fresh since it’s been half an hour since my sandwich was made? she tosses the sandwich aside and starts to make the sandwich and decides that I now ordered a turkey bacon club and makes a turkey bacon club and then says to me OK you ordered a turkey bacon club with no tomatoes and extra mayonnaise. I repeat to her no I’m sorry I told you it was a ham sandwich, ham and cheddar with no tomato and extra mayonnaise which I don’t understand. She had the sandwich right in front of her.! Apologize for the mistake. Just smiles and says oh yeah ham and cheddar here you go. Have a good day. I don’t have a clue if this was even a manager because to my knowledge, this is not how a manager should behave or ask to a customer that regularly visits the store every day I’m appalled by this behaviour! I guess this girl that calls herself the manager was the one making the sandwiches and I’m assuming this because she was wearing gloves on her hand that she was stocking the shelves with, and then decided to make my sandwich with the same gloves. Yummy didn’t even change them, so yeah if you’re going to eat here, just make sure you watch what’s going on after seeing that !yeah, I know!! Totally not sanitary or cool! So this is the reason why I put the date and time because I know they...
Read moreThe atmosphere was ok. I probably visit the place if I need to get to Mississauga for other bus connections. I have done a most no shopping in Mississauga. Square one may still have appeal but only certain bus routes will get me there. The connection point I use after timmies is at the Dundas st ten. No atmosphere, no snack shops in sight, and most of the buses are already crowded. I will pursue rentals here when my pension goes up or if I get back to steady work again even if it is temp work. I had only lived in Toronto full-time when in my mid 20s. After many shelter visits, I was believing a return to st.cath was inevitable but that would mean more shelters or unaffordable motels. Well I am trying again in a seniors building in Toronto, but the writing on the wall is kind of obvious. Get more work going or keep plugging away at some of my computer hobbies. Even that is tough since only the daytime coffee shops have the wifi. The best Wifi deal will be investigated for ten dollars and up. Of course, if I want the programs, I would need a special IPTV website for my laptops and a separate tv monitor with HDMI hookup. However, if I make any more special moves, some things would just have to be tossed including stuff for apt survival. I did obtain a laptop recently but it did not have Google maps set for this. However, I am not impressed with the chrome setup because I am not too familiar with Linux. There are people who will be saying what has this to do with coffee. Well, people notice that I am either game playing. Have music, or in the past weeks, have done everything on tablet or phone. But I intend to do things on my laptops again, when the waters settle, not to mention the weather. I will try to use the older laptop again, but I need to evaluate my new one as well. Will be getting to timmies many times over this holiday break, so thank you for not changing the coffee too much. Well I have other websites to visit and more hot coffee to drink before figuring out whether to go out of town today, and how far. Could be north of Mississauga today if I want dinner today,...
Read moreThe quality of the service at this Tim Hortons deserves a -10. Specifically the night time shift. This location use to be great but you’re better off taking your drink orders elsewhere. I was at this location drive thru at 12:20am July 17. I ordered two mango quenchers thru drive thru. I wanted one LESS SWEET. I had no problem paying the full price for both. However I just wanted one LESS sweet (so instead of a full pump I requested she just put half a pump of mango syrup)I thought the lady misunderstood but as the conversation progressed, the lady was just being complicated. I reiterated what I wanted for my order because I was under the impression she didn’t understand how I wanted my order. Yet she told me for half a pump it would extra cost. Even though I didn’t want a extra pump of syrup. I tried to explain again but she responded with a nasty attitude that she understood. So I asked why am I being charged for something I’m not asking extra for.
I just don’t get why would I have to pay extra for something I’m not getting extra of? Make it make sense. Let’s say the quencher $3.50 why would I pay an additional $0.50 for a pump of syrup that I’m NOT getting. In fact I’m only asking for half of the serving size. And I’m willing to pay the serving price.
When I drove to the window, the lady told me it was extra. I explained to her what I wanted face to face and asked her why would I have to pay extra if I’m not getting extra. She said to me if I wanted half pump of the serving, I have to pay the extra cost. (Absolutely ridiculous!) she then also proceeded to say if I didn’t want to pay the extra then she would make it normal (full pump) I decided to drive off because I didn’t even trust her.
After I told my mom and my friend about my encounter, my friend mentioned she had a similar problem with the same lady. And my mom told me she doesn’t go to this Tim Hortons anymore for the same reason, service quality...
