2nd review: I'm an old guy and love McDonald's happy meals. Has just the amount and variety of foods I enjoy. My go to are their cheeseburger happy meals. Comes with delicious cheeseburger, fries, chocolate milk, yogurt stick and a toy (which we give to our neighbour's child). Compared to local competition at Burger King, I find this a greater deal for the money. It's $5.95 here compared to $9.42 at Burger King for the same meal (minus the yogurt stick). Date experienced is Oct. 28 2025.
1st review: First time my lovely wife Pat and I have eaten inside this restaurant (normally been using the drive-thru). Ordered veggie burger and the cashier asked, "Do you want that as a big Mac?" Said, "Sure" and added fries and a drink for a combo. Sat down to share meal and didn't see the veggie burger. Pat went up to comment on it and the attendant said, "We don't have the veggie burger, only meat burgers." Pat calmly let him know that they need to be sure their cashiers make customers aware of this fact when ordering. Pat received a refund for the meatless (and veggieless) burger. At least we now know for next time if wanting a veggie burger do not go here. NOTE: Since trying to get a veggie burger McDonald's has introduced an actual veggie burger. Haven't tried it yet but...
Read moreI'm probably going to get flack for this. I am not prejudice nor am I racist. I work with two East Indians a Russian and a Ukrainian and I have respect for them all. The ones you guys hire here however are obviously not fit for customer service. I have started getting my coffee in the morning at Tim's, not because the coffee is better (it's inferior coffee, quite frankly) but I don't need to wait 15 minutes on my way to work. And I don't need to worry about my order being wrong. I get a large black every morning. I have gotten tea, coffee with cream and sugar. I have received my coffee and waited 10 minutes at the windows for a freaking bagel. I have driven off more than once.
If you want to hire internationals, hire ones who give a damn about your customers, who are motivated, who don't stand and chill and chat with a line up at the drive-thru. Quite frankly the ones you hire I've encountered are entitled. And some seem to believe they can douse themselves in perfume or cologne to serve food....why?
Oh and Tim's have ethnic people hired too. I'm in and out in less than 5 minutes without having to go through all this Hassel. McDonald's you REALLY need to discipline your staff. Some think it's a free for all and not a customer...

I had placed in my order and repeated the order nearly 5 times to the person taking the order. I then proceeded to the first window and the order still wasn’t taken correctly so we went over it again (obviously the person’s working here aren’t train correctly or just simply don’t comprehend English). When we went to the second window to receive the food .. the order still was incorrect. I proceeded to ask for the manager. The manager on duty name is Amandeep.. she totally disregarded the error of her staff and gave us attitude from the start. Instead of deescalating the situation she made it worst by stating we didn’t order that (after clearly placing an order with an inexperience person who cannot comprehend English!! I told the manager I’ll be reaching out to put in a review and she also stated she didn’t care. I’ll be grateful to speak to anybody in charge concerning this matter.
