The Groggy Frog Café — Restaurant in Moncton

Yeah this place is pretty cool. nice atmosphere, casual enough to go in with some sweatpants and not get judged by the influx of millenial digital nomads that have been seen to infest ever second corner here since the pandemic, but still in keeping with the tradition of hospitality and respect for the mise en scene. Really good coffee for this price, you can get a flat white and a ham and swiss on a croissant for under 10$, which is a steal compared to some of the others. Nice big windows to people watch, cute chairs and little decor. Really, really sweet people who work here, I overheard a staff member help a guy who was pretty unfortunate, made me really happy for the world. I'll admit there is bias in my reviewing here. Sure there may be cafes in Moncton that may execute some things better...

But

The Groggy Frog is such a welcoming, inclusive place, with such friendly hard working staff, that it's hard to consider anything else.

I love this cafe, it deserves your support.

What an absolute hidden gem in Moncton! These girls work hard and take pride in what they do and it shows. Their daily soup is sooo yummy and rotates so always something different to try which I love. I’ve had many sandwiches and all of them are tasty especially the croissant provolone ones 🤤.
