A&W Canada — Restaurant in Montreal

A moment ago I bought a craving for early morning for my boyfriend and me, which was very unpleasant, I ordered two buddy meat burgers, two chicken wraps with chipotle and a poutine, first of all, the guy at the checkout didn't give me my receipt, when I received my order the poutine was missing and the guy told me that he didn't charge me for the poutine, when obviously I ordered it, I paid 24 dollars for my burgers, wraps and a poutine, in the end I had to pay for the poutine again, then, when I got home and finally to dinner, my burgers were chicken burgers were chicken and WITHOUT CHEESE, when I clearly told him that I wanted them with cheese, the wraps were with bacon instead of chipotle, and the poutine was the worst, in addition to having to paying for it twice, they gave me a horribly salty poutine, what an unpleasant experience, It's not the first time I consume in this restaurant chain, but it's the first time I pay twice for something so bad and receive what the employees on duty...

The food was good, The service was great, Presentation excellent as well. The hash brown was especially delicious. Eggs were cooked as requested and held in one piece each. The reason for not getting 5 stars are: The cost has skyrocketed into the double digits. (probably due to covid and inflation) Square Bread was out of stock. Through no fault of the store: very difficult to access, parking almost non-existent. The road on which it is is blocked off to vehicles. Location clearly suits foot traffic or...

J'aimerais vous faire part d'une situation abusive et discriminatoire que j'ai vécu à une des franchises de A&W situé au 1651 av. Mont -royal est, Montréal, QC, h2j 1z6

Dans la soirée du 29 août 2024 vers 9h45 -10 pm, le propriétaire ou gérante de cette franchise m'a mise à la porte du restaurant de manière aléatoire alors que j'étais assis au banc à la fenêtre donnant sur la rue Marquette le temps de charger un appareil, prétextant que si je n'avais rien commander je devais quitter le restaurant. Cette soirée-là, il y avait également d'autres gens assis qui n'avait rien commander, en particulier un monsieur avec une casquette assis dernière moi installer avec ses effets personnelles, linges sales et autres et son laptop, mais dont elle ne lui a rien dit. Aussi ce monsieur en question vient squatter à tous les jours dans ce restaurant. C'est d'ailleurs à la demande de ce monsieur qu'elle m'a mise à la porte du restaurant.

Des itinérants viennent régulièrement s'assoir à cette section du restaurant régulièrement, ceux qui fréquentent ce restaurant régulièrement peuvent en attester. Alors voilà, je tenais tout simplement à partager mon expérience d'ambiance discriminatoire que j'ai vécu avec le propriétaire ou gérante de cette franchise.

En espérant que des mesures soit prises pour que j'ai le goût à nouveau de fréquenter cette franchise et de manger chez A&W sans cet arrière goût de pratique discriminatoire envers...
