Lulu’s Pasta Bar is a must-visit for any pasta lover! The staff were incredibly friendly, sweet, and welcoming—they even let me film content and helped us choose the perfect pasta based on our texture preferences.

They make fresh pasta daily, offering a wide variety of options with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic dish or a custom creation, the choices are endless!

The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The pricing is reasonable, and the portion sizes and quality make it 100% worth it!

Listen up fellow MTL foodies, I was told pasta wonderland stories about this place; "bro might as well call crown Lulu god of Rigati", " bah, by far the freshest pasta in town🤌". With these comments, I couldn't help but try it myself. And who's Lulu!?!?

Entering the pasta bar was an experience in itself, with large chunks of parmesan and pasta maker in the window, to the lighting, seating area and friendly staff that greeted you. ✨

I also had the chance to speak with the lovely manager, I got to learn all the benefits of their freshly made pasta, that the sauce is also made fresh, the parmesan is imported from Italy AND they were growing fresh basil (see photos).

I ended up grabbing the Lulu's tomato and basil with Rigati as my choice of pasta and my buddies grabbed the vegetarian rosé with added chicken. And wow, let me tell you the food felt like it was homemade in Rome! SO FRESH AND TASTY 😋

I was skeptical of proportions at first from the photos online, but hey they're quite generous actually and it's just right for three hungry hungry boys.

We finally got enjoy some creamy, delicious pasta in a cup. The freshly made semolina flour pasta, served in a 250g portion that seems smaller in pictures than it is (we weren't able to finish 3/4 of it), boasts 30g of protein and a list of vitamins and minerals not typically found in pasta served in North America.

We tried two items from the "créations de Lulu" part of the menu, and you'd definitely be delulu if you didn't love them. Obviously, we had to get the Creamy Cheeseburger, and we also tried the Creamy Chicken Chipotle. Both were satisfying, luscious, and delectable. We love the concept of a pasta bar, and we're not alone because the place was full to the brim with people trying to get their pasta fix at the giant cup-shaped counter (which we also loved). They also serve desserts that include lemon cake (which we tried, and it was great), Nutella cornetto or cannoli, and some alcoholic drinks.

If you, like us, have been noticing a lot of hype since they opened and are wondering if it's justified, the answer is yes. The hype is real, and we will be back (with more people) to try more...
