Bar L'Barouf — Restaurant in Montreal

Walked in late and stayed till 3:30. The bartender kept offering shots of Calvados. At the end of the night I find he charged us for them. The bill may have been inflated as I questioned the next day how two people consumed 7 doubles each of Scotch and periodic shots of brandy in two hours. Maybe we did as my right kidney still hurts three days later(see Doctor)and the hangover unfortunately will be memorable. I guess that's why we got to hold...

My partner and I went here on a saturday night and it was around 10pm not busy at the time. Shortly after we sat at a table, groups of people started coming in and we noticed the waitress attending to these people before us even though we got there first. She never even came to us to ask if we wanted anything to drink or to provide water. We sat there for a good 20 minutes before we walked out and went somewhere else...

Came out to Bar L’Barouf for a drink with my friends. We ordered espresso martinis, they were not the best. The bartender put heavy cream and a pack of sugar into the martini, it felt like an iced coffee with vodka. The bartender was also a little awkward when we asked questions about the area we were heading into (old Montreal) later in the night. Strange place when it’s not busy, we did like that it was open...
