During our 4-day, 3-night trip to Montreal, the restaurant that caught my eye was Jérôme Ferrer. Known for its French-themed decor, professional service, and gastronomic excellence, it was top of my list. Though we could only fit it in for a final lunch before heading home, it did not disappoint.

We opted for the 3-course lunch menu, complemented by a first bite and dark chocolate, and included a glass of red or white wine.

Welcoming Dish: Crostini with hors d'oeuvres of the day—simple yet crunchy, a perfect start. Side Order: Freshly served table bread with butter, accompanied by a mix of oil and balsamic. 1st Course: Vinaigrette salad atop a warm buttered pastry, beautifully presented with balsamic vinegar on the side. 2nd Course: Steak with a choice of fries or mashed potatoes (go for the mashed potatoes; they’re outstanding). 3rd Course: Chocolate mousse, elegantly garnished with silver flakes and mineral gold.

To cap off our meal, we enjoyed housemade dark chocolate with a thoughtful note from the restaurant.

Overall, this lunch was one of the highlights of our trip and ranks among the top dining...

I do not recommend eating at this place!

But let me start wit the limited positive feedback I have for this place: the interior design is nice the lobster cappuccino and the brioche were tasy

For the rest I was entirely disappointed. Our visit started with two of our group being mis-gendered. Just say "bonsoir" and drop the "Mesdames et Messieurs" once and for all. The steak tartare was below average with a very sad presentation on the plate and it came with a salad that had absolutely no dressing. The filet mignon was nothing special for 69$ and rather well done than medium rare. The worst experience however was one waiter that would not stop yelling at you from behind, making everyone around the table extremely uncomfortable trying to negotiate why someone does not want to eat a certain ingredient.

I also find it "abusee" to ask 50$ per person as a "fine" for a cancellation less than 24h before the reservation. Your business model should be based on quality service and food not on people not showing up for their reservation. I think you have a long way...

Absolute worst experience of my life. Me and my wife were more disappointed with the food at every serving. We provided with the wrong cutlery, then when we asked for them we already “finished” what we had and where provided with too much cutlery. The lobster was given with a smokey brick which was not removed, my wife was placed in a corner seat and the smoke suffocated her. I had to ask for the brick to be removed giving them my plate and glass which left us with one plate to eat off of. The bread we paid extra for was taken away from us while we were still eating. The steak was no better than a cheap stake I could buy from super c. The desert was litterly just Cotten candy and chocolate. There was nothing special about either desert. The chocolate tasted like the chocolate they place out at a hotel comfrence room and the gold got all over my cloths. After not eating anything mcdonalds was the highlight of our night McDonald’s. Staff was rude, and didn’t help us at all. Cannot stress this enough. It was my wife’s birthday and she...

The food was okay, it’s like restaurants at airports- edible but overpriced. Their grill could use a good scrubbing since all the char marks on the flank and hanger steak gave a bitter taste to everything, fries were also soggy. The service was proper but also condescending. The restaurant interior is aged with lots of cheesy faux wood. Everything before the main course is served in frosted glass which might have been cool in the 60’s but now looks kitschy. This all would be on theme for Beaver Hall, but they present themselves as a fine dining establishment. I would never come here again.

Came during mtl a table. They were understaffed but they did what they could. It's definitely more of an "adult" space, old timey classic think brown tufted leather benches and wood. Food was good, the mtl à table price for 31$ 3 course was excellent so I can't comment on regular prices. Portions and flavours were good but not spectacular, I wouldn't come back just for the food. I'd say it's more of a business type of place to grab a meal than a date spot for the younger generation.
