Bellepros — Restaurant in Montreal

I visited this restaurant on July 23rd at around 3:30 PM in the Marché Central area. The place was practically empty, maybe one other customer inside and I was the only person waiting to order. I immediately received two dirty looks from the cooks who were preparing food, upon entering, not exactly a welcoming first impression.

Eventually, a gentleman came over to take my order. Since the restaurant was so slow, I assumed there would be no issues with getting a simple order right. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I specifically asked for light/easy sauce on my poutine, yet my meal came drenched in sauce — the exact opposite of what I requested.

Wasn’t too happy about the food quality either but I was more disappointed by the poor attitude and lack of attention to detail, especially when the staff clearly weren’t busy. Definitely not the experience I expected, would not recommend eating here and I won’t be...

I was in the area for the first time doing some shopping & had a huge craving for something good. I found this place by accident and I’m glad I did. As soon as you see the big bags of Canadian potatoes, you know the fries are going to be fire.

Was greeted as soon as I walked in, the menu had too many options to choose from, but I went with the steak and pepperoni sub. I warn you, it was A LOT of food. The cheese melted perfectly, grilled onions, fried pepperoni, lettuce, tomato, it was awesome.

I would come here for the service alone that’s how good it was but the food makes it that much better.

Shoutout to the cook who made the masterpiece in...

Their burgers actually hit better than the nearby McDonald's, and they are freshly made in front of you! It had a generous amount of crispy bacon and had tangy Sauerkraut. Cool and talkative staff. From first glance, the looks of the place deceived me, but the place has good portions of food and very reasonable pricing. Their poutine is decent at best, the sauce has barely any spices in it and the fries were greasy and they tasted like they were fried in old oil.
