Not other culture friendly
The food is excellent. Issue is we've been treated differently. I looked arround, Other people were being given some nice hot tea on every single table. It was at least one asian on those table, not on our. We got fresh cold water ( like the one i got in my fridge) with no asked of our opinion. When you go to an asian cusine, all you expect is the culture, some authenticitie. I know what it looks like when they give you a nice service as the first time i went there with a friend. We should have got some take out. At least i would have eaten in the confort of my house. Now i understand why some people don't go there. Somethings you learn the hard way And this is why the world remain a bad place.
Edit: Since the other review tjat i left aboit 2 uears ago, we stop eating there. We were always getting food to go. Today, i called to order. Tjey told me to come and order in person. For those who know the place, there are stairs. I had a car seat to carry + my hand bag+ my other kid. I made it there, parking waa difficult to find. I place my order and i ask, how much it is. She told me the price and i paid and even got a bill with change. Another lady brought the order and shake her hand. The food was very hot. She PUT IT NEWS PAPER AND TOLD ME TO CARRY IT LIKE THAT. the other order were all in a plastic bag. Not mine. I usually place big order from this place. Not today. We all work hard to get our money. I said: i have a baby i can not carry that like that through the stairs. She insisted i could do it and finally told me to look on the paper, the plastic bag is 25cents. REALLY! safety 1st, did i complain about anything at all? NO I ASK YOU HOW MUCH WAS THE ORDER. why on earth didn't you includ the 25 cents in it? I do not know if this should be called Racisme, one thing for sure, you have no heart. No sens of business cause you showed me how much you value 25cents more than the order i place. It's called investement. You could have just told me the price with the bag included and said by the way i charde you for the bag as we pay for it. It would have been fine as nothing is free. 2 years and you never mention a price for the bag. I do not care if you charge me for it. You have a lot of attitude. I thank you, i refered a lot of friends there. Asian, european, name it. An asian friend took me there once and that's how i know the place. The food is great but respect come first. We live very fare from there. 45min no traffic. You lost a custumer for life. I am taking my business elsewhere. It doesn't matter how great the food is. The fact that you have that attitude take it all away. And here you are still wasting my time and energie as i am leaving a review. If you go there, know what ypu should espect. This...
Read moreI'll never eat here just from my delivery experience picking up food from this restaurant (I won't name the food delivery company I work with for certain reasons). As a matter of fact I'll never pick up another delivery from this place again either. When I first arrived I approached the lady who was preparing the deliveries and I said "Hi I'm here for soandso" and she completely ignored me. The lady working at the front desk walked over asked to see my phone and looked at the food deliveries being prepared and she said it'll be a few min. After a few min I was handed the food for the delivery. As I was walking off I said "Thank you have a good day!" The ladies said "You have to confirm pick up" so I replied "Yes, don't worry I will" to assure them that I would. Then they started screaming at me "You have to confirm it here!" I calmly said "Yes, I understand I'm going to confirm don't worry." They continued to scream at me saying "You have to confirm here! I have your picture!" Since they are screaming at me, naturally I'm going to walk away from them and during this time I'm still with in the premise and haven't gotten far. I'm glad I didn't confirm the pick up immediately because other wise I wouldn't have been able to report their nasty behaviour to me. I have a good rating for my deliveries so I'm not being difficult here or playing victim. If they scream at the delivery people I wouldn't be surprised if they scream at the guests who dine in. Also, to be clear I can't complete a delivery without first confirming the pick up and a few places I've picked up from have been kind of pushy about confirming and I said yes I will they were always satisfied but I've never been screamed at. As with most people who are delivering food we are trying to be as efficient as possible so like me most are confirming as...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst dining experience of my life. From the moment I walked in, the waiter looked shocked to see a customer. I even had to ask if they were open because she seemed so confused, and her response was, “Yea, don’t you see customers?” (I didn’t).
Then came the real nightmare. They were feeding vegetarians meat. When the diners realized, they asked for new food, but the waiter refused, yelled at them, and wouldn’t bring a manager—probably because they don’t have one. She even started yelling at them as if it was their fault!
I ordered lo mein and sesame chicken. Whatever meat that was on my plate, I guarantee it wasn’t chicken. In my 20 years on this planet, I’ve never tasted anything so nasty and suspicious. The lo mein? It was like someone boiled ramen with 50 cups of water and a single seasoning packet.
When it was time for the bill, she handed us a crumpled-up piece of paper and told us we had to pay cash. Fine. So we paid. While we were still eating, she came back and demanded a tip. We were planning to tip when we finished, but she insisted on some made-up minimum tip requirement! I’m almost positive this place is committing tax fraud. And after seeing the state of their place, they probably bribed their way through the health inspection too.
I asked where the bathroom was, and she said, “It’s over there, can’t you see?” I walked in and found unflushed toilets, no running water, wires hanging out of the wall where sinks should have been. It looked like something out of a horror movie, not a restaurant. Attached is a picture of how much food we had left when we left. (all of it)
This place shouldn’t...
