Bistro Tôt ou Tard — Restaurant in Montreal

Wow. Have you ever given something five stars and then go somewhere else to realize that it is no where near the level of amazing that is 5 stars?

This place has redefined a classic breakfast for me. I can’t recall having a better eggs Benedict anywhere else.

I ordered the mushroom brie eggs Benny. It was stunning. The brie was creamy, the eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was a perfect flavour and it was topped with beautiful caramelized onions.

Not only was the actual eggs Benedict delicious, but their potatoes were real potatoes (not frozen packaged morning potatoes). They served it with a lovely bowl of fresh (each one being perfectly ripe) fruits.

My friend ordered the Avocado bacon and cheddar eggs Benedict, and added some fresh tomatoes on top and also expressed that this was the best she’d ever had as well.

The fresh squeezed orange juice was scrumptious. Florida level good.

We drove quite a distance to try out this beautiful spot and I recommend you do too! The service was kind, welcoming and fast. The neighbourhood is beautiful and the music was on point! (We even got Rick Rolled!)

You can trust Bistro Tôt ou Tard to provide a filling, delicious brunch at a reasonable price. Thanks to yelp, I first visited this restaurant last summer and returned this weekend with some friends. It is located on the first floor of an office building across the street from Parc La Fountain. There is an outdoor patio for the warmer months. Both times I visited I ordered the Breakfast "Chez Nous," which has potatoes, bacon, sausage, ham, and cheese curds. As it is listed on the menu, it comes with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce (listed as "Dutch sauce" on the English menu), but I asked for scrambled eggs and no sauce and they were happy to comply. All of their brunch offerings come with a baguette, bottomless coffee or black tea, as well as a large bowl with a variety of fresh fruits. Our server was friendly and attentive, though we did have to ask for coffee refills. 🌝 Price: Excellent value, great portion size 🌝 Ambiance: Family style brunch. Big dining room, the place was packed but it’s not as bad as I thought. You can definitely have a private conversation without yelling. But more casual than romantic. 🌝 Service : very professional staff. Everyone was doing their job so wonderfully. Everything was running and running and not stopping. The place was going 200km/h and we did not even saw the time flying. Friendly and great people. 🌝 Food : delicious! Will probably be my place of choice for brunch from now on. Very fresh and you can taste it. I LOVE their potatoes! Idk what they are doing to them but I’m loving it. Also, their bowl of fruits has different kinds of fruit. It sound silly but it has more than 3 fruits.
