Regarding the technical service, they were fast and the computer works very well. The logic board was repaired and the battery that had problems was replaced. Regarding customer service I am really very disappointed and upset. First of all, they don't accepted other forms to pay, only accept cash, which means bringing cash money. Second for the rude and humiliating treatment they gave me as a client. Although there was a communication problem, when they called me and gave me the diagnosis they gave me a price. When the computer was ready, another person on the team called me on Thursday morning, March 21, 2024, informing me that the computer was ready and that I could search for it. He told me another price, but I only remembered that it was more, that's why I asked him twice and the guy even went to consult and confirmed that it was 450 for everything. I asked again, is everything included? since you have to carry the money in cash. He tells me yes. I trusted in that information and I had that amount 450$. When I arrived it told me 494.37$ and I got a little upset because the information was not correct and I did not have that amount. The response from the man in customer service was "I'm never wrong." You didn't understand and treated me like I was lying. I live far away and there are no bank ATMs nearby. I let it go because I wasn't going to continue arguing. However, I was never reluctant to pay, they gave me the option of Interac, I did it on the site. The owner treated me with a lot of disrespect, perhaps because of my immigrant status. I asked him about the warranty and his response was rude, disrespectful and humiliating, suggesting that I am stupid and cannot understand that the charger is damaged and damaging the computer. Also acting unnecessarily suspicious when I ask if the Interac has arrived and he comes out to put the computer on my desk as if he was going to run away and not pay. At no time did I appear dishonest and a thief, when they even have all my information, my address, my telephone number, why would I run away to avoid paying the missing 44 dollars? I felt he just want to humiliate me, I don't know if it's because I'm a woman and an immigrant. Read moreAt first when I brought it in, the guy told me there was no point in getting the phone repaired after I told him I dropped it in water, but I urged him to do a diagnostics anyway. Turns out the phone was fine and still works great. I then asked if they would repair the screen for me (I had gotten it from a friend already cracked a few months before), and they said they would replace the screen for $100. I knew other places would do it for $80 but I figured it wasn't worth it for the hassle. They kept it four days without repairing it and I had to call twice to remind them. After I got it back, the screen was broken again within 24 hours and fractured at the corners. I didn't drop it or do anything forceful to it and thought maybe they installed it wrong or something. I had a water spillage on my laptop and went to the apple store to get it checked out since it is their product. The guy pressed two buttons and said this whole board needed a replacement and gave me an ESTIMATE. of 706$! I was devastated as my MacBook Air 2017 was still in mint condition and was dear to me. I called this place 3-4 times to change and book appointments, they did not even get annoyed of it!
I gave in my laptop Monday and with a water spill cleaning, my laptop was back as I left it, even better than i had it initially on Thursday! they do additional test to ensure your laptop has no additional underlying issues!
