Sucre Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to! The sushi here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Every piece was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and noticeably larger than what you usually find at other places. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite, from the perfectly seasoned rice to the melt-in-your-mouth fish.
On top of that, the service was fantastic. Ying took such great care of us and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He’s so attentive and welcoming, and it really shows that he loves what he does. I also learned that he’s the artist behind the gorgeous wall drawings, which give the restaurant such a unique and inviting vibe.
Between the fresh, generous portions of sushi and the warm, friendly service, Sucre Sushi is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for amazing sushi and a wonderful...
Read moreThe tuna is the undeniable hero – stunningly deep red, buttery soft, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can taste the pristine quality with every bite. It practically dissolves, leaving pure, clean ocean flavor. Sashimi-grade excellence! enerous & Beautiful The portion of tuna is incredibly generous, artfully arranged over the base. It looks as incredible as it tastes.

It was flawlessly fresh – crisp cucumber, creamy avocado (perfectly ripe!), crunchy edamame, vibrant carrots, and sharp red onion. Every element was clearly prepped with care. Sauce Symphony The Spicy Mayo was the ideal choice – creamy, with a real kick that builds beautifully but never overpowers the delicate tuna. It coated everything lightly, enhancing rather than smothering. Pro-Tip Ask for it on the side if you're sensitive to spice, but trust...

Honestly the sushi did not look fresh. I usually LOVE all sushi but this was rough, I couldn't even finish it :/ Even the wasabi barely had flavour.
Also if you order online, there is an option for "Do you need a fork?" Assuming they literally meant a fork, I said no - but then I wasn't even given chopsticks so I guess it meant "Do you need utensils?" Just a heads-up.
I'm really disappointed because I live down the street and was hoping for a great boba place nearby. At least I still have Tubomi on Notre-Dame for reliably...
