If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Iran, look no further than kabab Bonab Restaurant. This restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that transports you straight to the heart of Persian culture, with its warm ambiance and friendly service.
The star of the show here is undoubtedly the kabab. I tried the Koobideh kabab, Tursh Kabab,Kabab Barg and it was simply sublime. The minced meat was expertly seasoned, perfectly grilled. Each bite was juicy and tender, accompanied by fluffy saffron rice that complemented the kabab beautifully. The grilled tomatoes and peppers on the side added a lovely smoky flavor that took the dish to another level.
The menu features a variety of kabab options, including Joojeh kabab (chicken) and Barg kabab (lamb), all of which are marinated to perfection and cooked on a traditional skewer. The freshness of the ingredients is evident, and you can taste the love and care that goes into every dish.
In addition to the kababs, I highly recommend trying the Mirza Ghasemi, a smoky eggplant dip, kashkBademjan , and Mast musir and their special Olive. The atmosphere is cozy, with Persian decor that creates a welcoming environment, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a family gathering.
The service was impeccable—attentive but not intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. At The end I should say Thanks To chef Mehdi, and other people behind in the kitchen, Also Thanks to all beautiful and kind waiters, Kiana,Helia,Elmira and dear Mahin I love you guys and I...

Bonab continues to impress iranians and guests of iranians alike with consistently juicy and flavourful kebabs.
This is a family favourite for the past four years and continues to be our go-to delivery whenever we have non Iranian guests.
While their lengthy menu has plenty of variety, the kebabs remain the jewels of the selection. Their jujeh (chicken) kebab is moist and full of aromatic saffron. Their beef kebabs are consistent and cooked well.
While their stews and appetizers are not as spectacular, they still offer a delicious variety. The Mirza Ghasemi by far being the best selection of appetizer.
Having dined inside, as well as taken to go, as well as asked for delivery, we are well acquainted with all mediums of order.
When dining in, the staff were not the most hospitable. Unsure if this would extend to non-persian speakers but since our first dine in experience we have had positive interactions over the phone and when taking to go. It remains to be seen if their in-person service has improved. We hope they continue to represent our culture in service as well as their amazing food.
Their delivery website works as a cheaper alternative to Uber. Despite the conveniences, tracking and customer support Uber offers, we hope that ordering from their website gives the proceeds directly to the business as opposed to intermediaries. We wish to support local and our own as much as possible.
All in all a positive experience and one that is frequently recommended as a staple of Montreal's...
Read moreI love the quality of their food, but I always order online, and avoid to eat inside, because they offer the worst service possible! Their waitresses are either rude or wacky. The first time I went there it was around 4pm and there was no one eating since it was a clod rainy day. (And they were open, I called before showing up!) The waitress ignored us for like 15 minutes, after we asked her to come and take our order, she asked wether the order is to go or not and we said that we’re gonna eat inside. When she brought the starter, she said “do you want me to pack the main course for you?” We thanked her and said no. When she brought the food to us she asked to pack it again. And I say that again: there was no one except us. The other time we ordered yogurt drink with our food, she didn’t bring it to the table. After we ate the food we ordered tea, and when we asked for the bill she said let me bring your yogurt drink as well. Like what am I supposed to do with that now?! The other time we asked them to clean the table for three times (when we have already been waiting outside for 10 mins and they called us and said your table is ready) They offer the worst service so I decided to reduce the tip after couple of times, and to your surprise they were the one who got annoyed! Like seriously, I understand that you work a lot and you get the min wage, and you probably expect tips. but it’s the same here, I’m a student, I do work full time and I am not a billionaire! When I choose your business to support, please show...
