We LOVE this bakery! Since it is not in our neighborhood, we make a special trip to pop in here every chance we get to buy croissants and danoises (you have not lived until you have tried their cassis croissant... it is incredible!). I was reminded that I am over-due for writing a review just a moment ago after enjoying their gâteau du roi. It is too bad that the season for this specialty cake is so terribly short, because it is truly the best gâteau du roi in all of Montreal! If you are looking for a quick yet wonderful dinner for your family, here is my suggestion: pick up two of their quiches (we have tried them all and each one is wonderful, yet we are partial to the Lorraine and the Chevre et Tomate) make a garden salad and pop open a bottle of wine and voilà (!!!) you have the perfect dinner. Baguettes here are also amazing and...

The cappuccino was perfect, nice and dry, not scalding hot — surprisingly good even if in a to-go disposable cup. The chausson aux pommes and quiche lorraine were delightful. Love the close-quarters here — a European bakery vibe squeezing in to eat in at a high central table and high front window counter with those who have just finished a weekend bike ride or run with some friends. And of course… wanted to leave with all of the baguettes! And a few of the lovely other baked goods — especially what looked like a...

I come here all the time, I told friends and strangers that this place has the best croissant in Montreal, but the croissant I got from the last two times tasted old, not fresh, the dough tasted hard and chewy, it did not taste like this before. I also get flan a la vanille whenever I see one from here, the taste has no problem, still on point every time, however, they used to put it in a box for me, but the last two times the staff just put it in a paper bag and gave it to me, when I came home it look like this. The white guy behind me also ordered a flan and you put his in a box, it made me feel disrespected, why would you put a fragile dessert in a paper bag, is it...
