Terrible service from the two ladies at the counter today. I ordered an iced chai latte to have on-site at 2pm. I took an entire 1-hour meeting on their terrace, made eye-contact twice with the lady who took my order, and never got received it. By the time I had finished my meeting, I tried to go to the counter to ask for it, but they had abruptly closed for the eclipse. I waited for them to re-open and went again to ask for my latte. The same lady who took my order earlier just kept telling me they couldn't find me earlier, and they had tried. Apparently my order had just been sitting on their counter the whole time. She just said "it's fine, we'll make you a new one." Completely unapologetic, and almost cutting me short. It took them 15 more minutes to finally bring it to me, and they brought me a hot one. I told the server that I had ordered an iced one, and she just answered me with an annoyed attitude "...well I didn't know that it was iced." I was so fed up with it all that I just said it's fine. This is usually my favourite cafe in the area and I recommend it to everybody I know, so this...

My twin sister, and I had a great experience of grabbing a coffee at Cafe Ma Bicyclette during a short visit to Montreal prior to hopping on a New England cruise.

This place has a fabulous vibe with beautiful baked goods, indoor and outdoor space enjoyed by a steady stream of visitors, including a large number of bicyclists. The day we visited, was sunny and warm, allowed for a lovely walk in the nearby areas. This area is perfect for people, watching, one on one conversations, and over on relaxation! We look forward to returning here on a future visit to Montreal.

When you go to this café, You must meet the barista named Paul. He did such a lovely job making our drinks perfectly, and he takes his job seriously! It is employees like these who give businesses five star ratings!...

Location, location, location! This café is perfectly situated right on the canal, surrounded by beautiful greenery and plenty of benches to sit and take in the view. It’s the ideal spot for cyclists, as the name suggests, with many stopping by for a quick pitstop during their ride along the canal. The food and drinks are pretty solid—fresh, tasty, and perfect for a light snack or a full meal. The vibe is super chill, making it a great place to relax, whether you’re grabbing something on the go or sitting inside. The interior is cozy, with large windows that offer a great view of the canal and green space outside. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is well...

Probably not for the tourists. It’s a great location, seems to be a meeting junction for cyclists, friendly barista and the coffee was nice as well, but the owner/manager could do a bit better by not being so snobby. After ordering take out, I followed a biker who was waiting for his coffee thinking that’s where you pick up your to-go order as well. However, he was keen to point out that I was creating confusion for other customers. As a fellow cyclist, I don’t feel like giving a low rating, but hope it’s a quick fix for their team.
