Vibe is very sterile inside, not a lot of warmth. And you can hear everyone’s conversations (bad acoustics). The terrace is on a very noisy street with many trucks especially at rush hour. I didn’t have long to stop in but I wanted to review notes before a meeting. The person at the counter didn’t seem to know anything about the menu when I asked questions. The lemonade I had was fine? Seems overrated but I’d give them another shot perhaps …

Edit: and now it seems the ownership or whoever is replying to reviews is making some weird insinuation about me because many of my other reviews are positive - that’s a great way to win clients. I live in the Pointe and love to show love to cafes and restaurants that treat clientele well, because I know Google rating makes a difference. I also reviewed a paper shop in the plateau at the same time as I wrote 3 other reviews because Google gamifies interactions 🤷🏼‍♀️ AND I noticed that perhaps my fave cafe I haven’t even written a review of, so I bookmarked that for later. (Might not be an exciting Saturday evening but at least I’m not stalking the ppl leaving reviews for...

UPDATE 2 - they have cardamom buns! (Please keep making those) . Also some egg dishes got added to the menu. Coffee was good this visit as was the service. I like the plants they added. Still a top choice in the neighborhood.

UPDATE - Last time i was there the espresso tasted burnt. The matcha drinks with fruit puree are still excellent, Also, the Asian girl barista is notably not very friendly (this is based on several visits). I mean, I don't expect to be best friends with cafe staff, but just some basic level of being more welcoming would be nice?

Great cafe near Lachine canal. I've really enjoyed their matcha with fruit, as well as avocado and ricotta toasts and freshly made cinnamon buns. Coffee was good as well. Pleasant vibe and sufficient enough seating if you intend to stay a bit, but it can get...

This is such a cute spot! I found this café while looking for coffeeshops to go study in, and I fell in love with the vibe! The interior is beautiful and clean, the staff is super friendly. I tried the Mocha Noir and the Dulce de Leche Latte, both were excellent. Very tasty and not too sweet. I was working and kept inhale such a great smell while someone was cooking in their kitchen so I went ahead and asked the barista what they were making and they told me it’s Choux A la Creme so I ordered a fresh one and it was out of this world. Happiness in a little dessert! I’m definitely...

Im not usually a avacado toast guy. Usually it seems way overpriced and bland but this was the best abacado toast I have had. The ficacia like bread was fresh and bouncy, the arugula had a nice vinaigrette that cut the avacado well and the egg had the perfect jasmines. The vold brew itself was really good as well with a good chocolate richness. The staff is really friendly and quick. The avacado toast recommendation was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere is nice and light with a lot of design that seems nice in the winter as well. Overall a great place for coffee and breakfast.
