Me and my sisters are in Montreal for New Years and we have many allergies... after finding out the bagels we wanted had eggs we decided to get coffee instead.
Nat took care of us from the literal moment we walked into his cafe. We were greeted with so much enthusiasm and we saw Italian treats, automatically assuming there was nothing for us, my one sister wanted to retreat out.
He offered us a table for 3 in a little corner and took our orders according to our restrictions offering 7 different dairy options! We don’t have those options in Toronto, Ontario in one place unless it’s a Starbucks. The baristas and him were so prompt and attentive, he has a large array of options for everyone. He was able to whip my sisters up a beautiful vegan brunch on homemade ciabatta bread. My sisters are so happy with the food we can’t stop raving.
Sibling one, “Subway has nothing on these guys” Sibling two, “oh my god this is amazing”
Nat is super social and friendly, such a great energy in this little cafe. It truly is beautiful. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable and taken care of. We will definitely encourage our friends and family to visit when we...
Read moreWe had the pleasure to stop at this cute corner place today. My daughter highly recommended the cannoli and coffee so we went to try them. It was honestly delicious, crispy and fresh, made to order. The ricotta filling is Mamma Mia! Just so tasty! The owner is very friendly and welcoming and made us laugh so much. Within a few minutes, we got to talk and share friendly banter. He even gave my daughter a free coffee and my other daughter a free limoncello cannolli. We also got a croissant, it was very big and he topped it with pistachio filling for free. It has been a long time since we have met such a generous owner! The customers seem to be regulars and they were also joining in the stories. We highly recommend this place for cannoli and coffee as my daughter kept praising the quality. There was a variety of sandwiches and next time we plan to try them and the tiramisu as well. Go and try the cannoli, highly recommended. Thank you Nat for making us feel so welcome and thank you for such...
Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences I've had ordering a coffee. I go in and ask for an iced americano, the lady says ok and starts making it. Except instead of going over and pulling some espresso, she pours pre-prepared iced coffee into the cup from a plastic pitcher. I'm not sure if she didn't understand what I said or if she didn't know what an americano was, but this is supposedly an Italian themed cafe, so you'd kinda assume they do. After that, I realised I forgot to ask for milk, so I said "sorry but could I get some milk in that?". She rolled her eyes, poured a third of the coffee back into the pitcher, and then poured way too much milk in. Then she goes to ring me up for over $6 for iced coffee. She also called it cafe au lait so they literally charged me for the milk. I was so in shock at what happened that I didn't immediately leave without paying, which is what I should have done. And to top it all off, the coffee was terrible....
