If you are looking for a brunch that breaks away from the usual eggs-Benedict-and-avocado-toast routine, L’Estancia brings something bold and fresh to the table with its vibrant Mexican-inspired brunch, served daily until 2 PM. Tucked into a lively pocket of the city, this spot fuses colorful ambiance, flavorful plates, and an effortlessly cool vibe that feels like a little escape—without ever leaving town. PS: I’ll be posting a video review soon on TikTok (@Foxy.appetite) and Instagram (@Foxyappetite)—stay tuned! ⸻ Atmosphere & Decor From the moment you walk in, L’Estancia charms you with its lively, joyful aesthetic. Think bold murals, playful visuals, and a kaleidoscope of color that practically begs to be photographed. The lighting is flattering, the art is fun, and the playlist adds energy without overpowering conversation. It’s the kind of space that instantly lifts your mood—ideal for catching up with friends or snapping a brunch selfie (or three). ⸻ Food & Drink I went with the El Chechito ($21.45), a well-composed plate that included: • Two perfectly cooked eggs • Crispy bacon • A half mollete (an open-faced Mexican sandwich) layered with beans and fresh pico de gallo, served on bread that hit the sweet spot: crispy outside, soft inside • Seasoned breakfast potatoes • A red fruit crêpe to satisfy that sweet brunch craving Every element played its part, but the mollete was the real MVP—warm, comforting, and packed with flavor and texture. The fruit crêpe was a lovely contrast, adding a light, tangy-sweet finish to the meal. I especially appreciated the use of fresh berries and whipped cream instead of the overdone banana combo you see everywhere else. To drink, I had a Cosmopolitan ($13), which was bright, balanced, and not overly sweet—surprisingly perfect with brunch. My aunt ordered an espresso martini made with rum, which gave the classic a smooth, tropical spin she couldn’t stop raving about. ⸻ Service The service was a strong point—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Staff knew the menu well and were quick to offer helpful suggestions. Food and drinks came out at just the right pace, giving us time to relax and enjoy without feeling rushed. ⸻ Final Thoughts L’Estancia isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a vibe. Whether you’re out for a brunch date, reconnecting with friends, or flying solo and treating yourself, this spot delivers an experience that’s both flavorful and fun. With its New Mexican twist, thoughtful menu, and ultra-Instagrammable decor, it’s easily one of the more memorable brunches in Montreal. Pro tip: Snap a few pics while you’re there—the ambiance deserves a spot on your feed.

We have been at this restaurant last night. It was Saturday night. The restaurant was full but the waiter came and attended us right away. He told us about 10 min and it was perfectly fine since we were walk ins and did not make a reservation in advance. A few minutes later we were sat down. We were attended right away by the waiter and the ordering process went smoothly. Food was served about 25min later and while waiting we had the chance to assist to mariachis singing live in the restaurant. Awesome experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered some tacos and huaraches. It was really good. Flavors and spices perfectly balanced and we could really taste the real authentic Mexican spices. The price for each item in the menu is fairly priced and you absolutely get your moneys worth. If you find the drinks a little hefty priced, it's normal, but the size of the drinks explains it very well. I had a michelada and couldn't finish it. Staff is very friendly, polite and especially present. All in all, this restaurant have surpassed my experience and expectations. I have been to a few authentic Mexican restaurants and by far this one takes the cake. We had an amazing time, delicious food and an awesome ambiance. I 100% recommend this place to anyone. I suggest to call in for reservations, especially on the week end. Cheers!!! Salud!!! Viva México!!!

Curiosity got the better of us, and we couldn't resist diving into the recent hype. Nestled in a vibrant corner of town, this taco restaurant promises to tantalize your taste buds—and let me tell you, it delivered! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a lively atmosphere perfect for a spontaneous taco night out. The energy was infectious, and we knew we were in for a treat! We decided to start with the necessary birria tacos, our go-to gobernador tacos, and the tacos de pastor,  all of which were nothing short of amazing. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with rich, savory meat enveloped in a perfectly crafted tortilla.  Their fresh and zesty toppings wowed us, radiating bold flavors. To wash it all down, we sipped on a refreshing mezcalita, which did its job wonderfully after what seemed like the longest week ever. Its smoky notes and vibrant citrus made for an ideal pairing with the rich tacos. Our experience was nothing short of spectacular—everything we tried was incredibly filling, yet we managed to enjoy every last bite. Whether you're a seasoned taco lover or just looking for a fun night out, this place is definitely worth the hype. We can't wait to return for another round of their delicious tacos! 🌮✨🥳
