Pho Anh Express — Restaurant in Montreal

We had an early dinner here on a Sunday. We almost didn’t go in at first because it was completely empty but in the end we walked in and had a meal. We both got the beef pho with rare and brisket beef flank. IT WAS AWESOME. Pho is one of our favourite dishes and one that we’ve learned to essentially judge restaurants by. This place had absolutely delicious broth, perfectly tender noodles, lots of high quality beef, and a bountiful fixings. Also, the owner was super nice, and the room, while basic, had comfortable banquets. So you should do yourself a favour and get a nice bowl of noodles here to eat in or take out because one of the better noodle shops in the country is sitting right here in...

From the outside, it's an unassuming little shop, but the food was absolutely divine! The pho was so good — broth was savoury and spiced with such depth, and the meat was tender and flavourful. Excellent! 5 stars Vietnamese restaurant, one of my favourite pho places in Montreal. The food is delicious, especially the pho ga, the broth is rich in flavour and yet not too salty, with perfectly grilled chicken and comes accompanied with vegetables. They also have vegetarian options. Affordable prices and great portion size, good enough to fulfill one's belly on a cold day. Also great service in this family...
