L2 Lounge — Restaurant in Montreal

Judging from the current Google photos, this place looked a bit small and cramped to me. I like to see seating options and get the general vibe of a place before visiting, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I came in yesterday! This spot was spacious with a lot of available seating! Some booths, some table and chairs next to large windows, good music was playing, lots of younger people hanging out... overall it seemed like a great hangout/study spot for people of all ages (but maybe moreso for college aged folks).

L2 Lounge was very clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs! This being my first time here, I was a little overwhelmed by the menu and it's many choices/combinations so I just ordered a milk tea with grass jelly. Service was fast, the drink was delicious, and I'm already excited about my next visit here. :) Keep it up! You have a new regular...

I am a huge fan of the wintermelon bubble tea and this place served what will be, until my dying day, the best wintermelon boba ever consumed or concocted in the history of mankind! Any presentation of the wintermelon drink, here, and forever more after, no matter how audacious, whether Bobby Flay or Guy Fieri trying to match it on the food network, no one could remake that wintermelon slurply slurpppaderp the way I enjoyed it... no one! I mean, it's been only a week since I had it, and I still think about it when I go shower or drink normal H2O. If I can have 3 wishes from the genie, I would replace my blood with that drink, make the air smell like it and finally fill my coffin when I die with that delicious drink . Yeeehawww Did I mention that litchi jelly with it makes an atomic explosion in your mouth?

Pretty decent bubble tea. However, one thing in particular bothered me about the cup sizes. They have 3 cup sizes starting from smallest to largest but are labelled Small, Large, and Extra Large respectively. Now, I’m no mathematician, but if I use all six of my brain cells, it should be Small, Medium, and Large. Why did they skip Medium and went straight to Large and Extra Large. What did Medium do? I think it’s kinda unfair and they should change it regular sizing. I get it it’s a trivial thing but as Jordan Peterson says, “the devil is in the details”.
