Al Amine — Restaurant in Montreal

Food is below average. If you want cheap food and you don't mind the horrible staff, then I 100% recommend it. They have great imported soft drinks, which is a nice touch and a good variety

HOWEVER, what I cannot recommend is the staff. Every time I went, the staff looked disgusted of being there... I can be alone in the restaurant and the staff will make me feel as in they are in a big dinner rush when I am clearly the ONLY customer ordering. Staff is NOT pleasant and their closing hours are 100% random. Don't trust their opening hours, they are either wrong or the staff will decide to close at their earliest convenience. LASTLY, as if being rude wasn't enough, they clearly have too much staff for the amount of customers. The audacity of making me feel as if they were crawling under work when most of them are being paid to be sitting around and doing nothing... I am not one to be picky with this kind of stuff being a pretty chill guy, however, dealing with the staff several is a chore and definitely not worth my money as a customer.

tl;dr Food is...

Went with six friends of mine and had a very unpleasant experience on Saturday September 25th 2021 around 10 pm.

All of us ordered Trio Sandwich (chicken/beef).

First of all, they prepared food with bare hands without any gloves while touching everything.

Second, the quality and flavor was really poor.

Third, they don’t accept credit cards.

Fourth, the staff is not friendly at all. After eating food, we forgot to take the trays from the table. The big guy behind the counter yelled and came to us aggressively. Indeed, he was rude. We came back and cleaned the trays respectfully.

Last but not least, the restaurant was not clean. The washroom was disgusting.

Should mention, one of my friends asked for some sauces that they gave them to him. The only good point ;)

All in all, never ever recommend this...

The food is pretty tasty, big menu with good amount of options as well. Seating is rather casual but the place is kept clean enough. I went for a beef shwarma platter. All was good with the food but the service was not. The guy hastily added salad before I could even look at them properly and choose which one I wanted. I was trying to get two different salads and he just loaded it with coleslaw before I could make a second choice. When I told him I wanted the other salad too he said it would be extra -_- . He also really annoyed me when my friend who was paying had to go to his car to get his cash, and he was telling me why couldn't I just pay with my own $ - How is that your business man?? I'd give this place a much better rating if that worker...
