This was truly a gem right in the middle of the residential area in Drolet. It was our first time going here, but we knew we’d be back not too long after.

I was really impressed by how everything was homemade and delicious (the ham was amazing and a must-try, along with the bacon). I found the serving size to be perfect (not a fan of having too much leftover). This one was filling without being too heavy of a meal.

The service was great. Our server was very attentive and kind from start to finish.

The place is very clean and well-kept. Currently, they only have 16 chairs due to COVID restrictions in Montreal, and I think they’ve executed that in a way that perfectly respects the social distancing rules.

We arrived around 10:30 AM, and waited about 10-15 mns outside as there was a couple of groups before us. They don’t take reservations, but I consider the wait pretty quick compared to other places and we were served as soon as we got settled inside.

PS: They have two paid parking spaces right in front. We had to park about a couple of blocks away as we didn’t notice them right away (most of the other spots are residential parking spaces with sector stickers and so we...

🤤 🇫🇷 🍞 Pain Doreeeeee! DAMN! It's been a while since I had Mtl brunch, and Le P'tir Rustik did not disappoint 🙌

Fortunately we went Friday shortly after lunch, and got seated instantly, however the place was more or less full - i can see how on the weekend this place will be swamped.

Staff were super friendly, Service was fast, and food was top notch!

We ordered the Atlantique Benedict, Gravelax (deconstructed atlantique with toast), and French Toast 💣

The Benedict was great as to be expected. Generally I get the hollaindaise on the side, however mistakenly it was put on (the team did offer to make me a new one, but I decided to chow down) and I must say the hollaindaise in this instance was perfect, light, not overpowering and well balanced!

On to the French Toast, the clear star of the show 🌟 we opted for blueberry, and did not expect this beast to come out - when it arrived we knew it was gonna be good and it tasted even better than it looked.

Fresh cream, thick slabs of pain doree, blueberries, and some caramel/butterscotch sauce (to me this tasted like melted down werthers originals).

Next time I'm back in Mtl, I'm going...

Great little brunch place I've always wanted to come try. I came here one weekday morning with my wife and sat on the patio. It was very quaint and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere the restaurant and area provided. One thing however, the patio is located on a very narrow street and it happened to be garbage day on the day we came. The truck was having a hard time squeezing through the cars, which meant that for 4-5 minutes, we were essentially sitting next to a garbage truck while eating lunch. Very situational, but I guess don't come here in garbage day in the morning.

We ordered the rustik dish and the French toast. The rustik was mostly standard, but the pulled ham was really unique and delicious. Very tender and not too sweet. The dish also comes with these potato hash browns that were quite tasty, similar to potato latkes. The french toast was the star of the show. We chose the apple version, and it blew us away. Comes with whipped cream, caramel, apple sauce and a crumb. The bread is beautifully fluffy and everything just worked so well together.

Overall, though a bit pricy, the place is definitely...
