McDonald's — Restaurant in Montreal

I am someone who has gone to this McDonald’s many times throughout the years, but never did a review because I always thought this place would shut down or change administration.

I’ll start by saying that I’m surprised they could still run this way after all this time. In the drive thru, each car in the is served every 10-20 minutes (except with the weekday morning shift staff - probably why they avoid repercussion - as there would be people late to work and causing major scenes). Be READY to wait 30 mins to over an hour, even if there’s a short line.

This place needs to hire more people or pay their employees more, which is extremely overdue since it has been allowed to run this way for over THREE YEARS.

I’m only commenting now because I moved nearby and it’s the closest McDonald’s to us now sadly. The employees seem kind so it is genuinely confusing as to why it’s so ridiculously slow, but it seems like it a good method to get many cars to just leave and shorten the amount of work (whenever I am at the drive thru and have the time to wait over 30 mins, there is always at least 2-5 cars that just leave because it is taking just too long).

Just avoid this place if you are not a patient person. I’m not sure this will be ever be seen by McDonald’s or the administration of this place, and honestly it’s not my place to speak on minimum wage employees, but it’s just baffling to me because I don’t know any other McDonald’s (except a few late night 24h McDonald’s around Montreal) that have service like this one during the middle of the day!

Some advice for fastest order possible: do a mobile pickup, wait at the cashier patiently, and they usually get to you in 2-4 mins. And you get your things in 2-5 minutes. The keyword is patience, but also, this is supposed to be “fast” food for a...

This place should be closed down. We only go there when we need to, which is not often. It takes atleast 30 minutes to order your food another 20 minutes to get it, and then it's wrong. My husband is highly allergic to onions and asked for no mustard many times and everytime the order is always wrong. He went up to the counter and all they did was scrape the onions and mustard off the bun. Theu argued with him, which in customer service the customer is always right. He gave them the burger and said they could keep it. After 20 minutes and about to leave they offered him a new burger and he refused to take it. All the staff are so rude , it's dirty in there outside there are ppl that just linger around and not a place I will bring my child again..they don't clean or clear the tables and that's part of there job . By FAR the worst McDonald's I've ever been (and I've been to a couple). They say they are 24/7 but I've tried to order 4 times at different hours at night with no luck. 11:00pm - closed / 4am - also closed / 12 am - yup, you guessed right, closed / 2 am - yeah...

So the only way to order from here at night is by the app (I guess that way they don't get their concession revoked), but FEAR NOT FELLOWS, don't even try it. I ordered 5 cheeseburgers and got 20 nuggets, 1 french fries and 2 ice teas. No idea, of course I ate it, but what the duck...

Manager and workers there are really mean. McDonald's, if you see this, just take the license away from this guys, they are destroying your reputation.
