I recently had the pleasure of dining at Muze Lounge & Terrasse, and I must say it was an absolutely exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning ambiance and impeccable decor of the place. Stepping inside, I felt like I had been transported out of Montreal and into a magical setting. The beauty of the venue instantly won me over, with its exquisite details and warm atmosphere. The service there was simply incredible. Our server was flawless in every way, attentive and always ensuring that we lacked nothing. Her kindness and professionalism truly added to the memorable experience. It's rare these days to come across such impeccable and attentive service. What particularly impressed me at Muze Lounge & Terrasse were the prices. Unlike many places in Montreal, the prices here were very reasonable. I didn't feel that sense of being overcharged that often comes up. The entire menu was affordable, which is a huge advantage. Regarding the food, we opted for the guacamole platter, salmon tartare, and fried calamari, and they were all delicious. The portion sizes were quite generous, which was a pleasant surprise. We also tried three different cocktails: the Frozay, the Lokelani, and Fly Me to the Island. I highly recommend the Frozay and Lokelani if you're looking for a sweet and fruity cocktails. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my experience at Terrasse Muze. From the beautiful ambiance to the impeccable service and delectable food, everything exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an enchanting dining experience in Montreal.

I am very disappointed with the experience that my boyfriend and I had. We went for Valentine's Day. Firstly, the service was horrible; we had to ask the waitress to come three times in order to bring water. Afterward, the food took 45 minutes to come. Our main dish was Gravlax de saumon à la betterave, émulsion de gin et eau de rose, blinis oeufs de tobiko. The saumon was very fishy. It looked like it was not fresh at all, and it was very ridiculous for the price we paid to have mini pancakes. Also, the amuse-bouche were only TWO OYSTERS!! However, the Tataki de canard, pickles de canneberge, crème aux agrumes et salade croquante was good but not enough. The portion was too small. As for the main course, we ordered Filet mignon de porc lardé, légumes asiatiques et gratin de pomme de terre, courge musquée. The filet mignon was way too dry. The only good part was the gratin de pomme de terre. As for my boyfriend's dish, it was Lobster ravioli with creamy bisque and parmesan chips. The ravioli were not creamy at all. As for the dessert, this honestly was the only good part of our experience, as it was delicious. But except for that, the rest of the food was disgusting. Also, the DJ music was ridiculous, but the design of the restaurant was beautiful. I will strongly not recommend you to go to this restaurant. Plus, the worst part of all, we complained, and they did not even have the audacity to offer us something to compensate, which is extremely disappointing!!

On valide.

We booked this restaurant for Valentine’s Day thinking it would be a cute new place to try. Unfortunately, other than the nice vibe of the restaurant, I would not recommend going here based on our experience.

We were sat in the corner of the restaurant and did not have enough space to move our legs for how crammed it was. We asked the hostess if we could change table (there were approx. 8 empty tables in our section). She said that she could not because they were fully booked (I understand that) however she could have put someone else there. We then asked our waitress to see if there was ANY possibility to change spot because we didn’t have leg space and showed her our leg space and she said “ah ouain c’est vrai mais non”. At that point, we just took the L. The waitress refused to serve us in English. When we would speak, she would reply back in French. I understand that we are in Quebec, but given that the restaurant is located in DT MTL in a hotel, maybe the staff could make an effort to reply/serve their anglophone customers and English speaking-tourists in English. She clearly understood English as she was replying in We arrived at the resto at 7:30pm. They had approx. 5 main course meals that you can choose from. We asked if we could get the bowl and she said that they had run out which is a bit odd since it was quite early in the evening and many couples around us had ordered the pre-made vday menu. We got our entree and once we finished, the waitress passed by and asked if wanted the bill. Mind you, at this point we did not even receive our main meal yet. She did not admit that she forgot to put the order in and we had to wait another 40 mins on top of the hour that we were already there. The waitress did not bring us water. We had to ask for water and when she brought it, she brought 2 glasses that were half full. We both got burgers and they tasted fine. The sauce was not spread evenly on the bun so every time I took a bite, the flavour would change - I was not a fan of that. The pairing of the BBQ dipping sauce and Asian-flavoured salad did not pair well. There are many other restos in MTL where you can get a better burger for cheaper. I forgot the name of the cocktail that I got but it was the one with cream. It was so strong, I had to gulp it down like I was...

We were guests at the hotel Honeyrose, and excited to try the Muze restaurant. After being seated, we waiting for 30-45mins without anyone coming over to our table. During that time we saw a waitress taking shots of alcohol with one of her tables. We finally got fed up on waiting and asked the manager if anyone could help us. He seemed surprised no one had helped us and asked the waitress doing shots to help us. We mentioned to him that she had been doing shots instead of helping her customers, which he was okay with. We told him that we would expect people to come to work to care for their customers instead of taking shots. He became very impatient, stopped making eye contact, and became very short with us. Regardless, we placed an order but our drinks never showed up and by the time the food arrived, we had seen enough. We got up to leave and were stopped at the door by the manager. We told him that we changed our minds and decided not to eat there. We had not touched our drinks or food. He insisted that we couldn’t leave without paying. We tried to reason with him but he wouldn’t listen. He insisted that regardless of the situation, they force you to pay in Montreal. So we gave him our room number and ensured him that we would be talking to the hotel manager. When you visit a hotel as luxurious as the Honeyrose, the last thing you expect is to be treated like a criminal.

We spoke to the hotel supervisor Yani, who was shocked to hear about our experience. Yani apologized profusely and advised us that their other restaurant, The Commodore, was open late, so we decided to go there. It was excellent with superb service! During our meal, Yani revisited us to say that he had spoke with the Muze manager and that if we would be willing to give Muze another chance they would comp our entire meal. Unfortunately we were already disgusted by our interaction with the Muze manager so we declined.

Leadership starts at the top, and the Muze manager, Jesse, could learn from Yani. Perhaps he could avoid the 1...

I went there for my birthday and the reason I chose this restaurant is because I wanted a rooftop terrasse in Montreal. When I tried calling to make sure we were on the terasse, there was an automated message saying their terasse is heated for cold days and covered for rainy days. However, we went on a sunny mid-june day and although it got a little chillier at night, there was no rain and weather was great! Terasse was heated which was great to accomodate for the little chilly weather, and it was first uncovered when we arrived, so it was nice to see the clear blue sky. However, not lomg after we areived, they covered it and it felt like we were trapped in a very dark room outside, even though there was no rain! I felt like it kind of ruined our terasse experience, which was the reason we had booked this place in the first place. At this point, it would’ve been better to even sit inside since at least there would’ve been more light. In addition to this, I ordered a burrata for appetizer and specified it was to share with my dad and sister, and i also ordered my main course. The waitress brought everyone’s food except mine, and she brought me the burrata I ordered to share. When I tried telling her the burrata was the appetizer and it was supposed to be brought first, she said she had ordered it with the rest, and then got my my main course afterwards, so it was annoying to watch everyone eat there main course while i got mine later. It’s as if she brought the burrata as main course and the main course as a desert. So I had to eat after everyone else finished. It was the first time i see a waitress who didnt understand the concept of appetizer being brought BEFORE main course. Regarding the food, theburrata was really good but the salmon tartare and salmon burger were...
