I’ve been going to this salon for the past 3 years, and it makes me sad to write this review. I really want to love this place, but unfortunately, I’ve tried 3 other hairdressers since my stylist Layla left. They all let me down. Not listening to my wishes and cutting off more hair than I wanted. And worst of all, this last time, they tried to send me home with the most crooked haircut I’ve ever seen; even after I asked why the right side was so much shorter than the left and why the cut was so choppy, they tried to gaslight me into saying the right half of my head’s hair will grow faster so it is intentionally cut like that… unbelievable. After asking him to fix it, he tried his best to fix the horrible mess on my head, but I still have a crooked bob that is horrible and painful to look at. If it wasn’t bad enough that he didn’t care to check at any point in time if my hair's left and right sides were even, I very clearly stated my intentions of the haircut were not to cut a lot off, that I hate short hair on myself. At the beginning of the appointment, I was painfully clear that my goal was to leave with as little hair cut off as possible. After the first cut, I knew he was cutting too much off, but there was no going back since he was cutting with a pair of clippers. He finished hacking all my hair off in the shortest amount of time I’ve ever witnessed. Instead of apologizing for his mistakes of clearly cutting way more than I ever asked for, he continuously made jokes about the horrible situation instead of, at the very least, owning up to his mistake.
100 dollars later and a horrifically lopsided bob cut I clearly stated I did not want in the beginning… this was my last straw for this salon. I used to love and look forward to coming here.
The constant revolving door of stylists, all of them, somehow incapable of following their clients' requests. I will never return. And I will never recommend to a friend I care for to come to this salon. The last 3 experiences of mine here, especially this last one, have honestly scared me from ever wanting to sit in a salon chair ever again.
Save your money and your tears; these people have lost their touch, finesse and, worst of all, their care for their...
Read moreMy husband and I were very satisfied with our hair done twice by hairstylist Mr. Kyo (5 stars)
UNFORTUNATELY, we had a very bad time with an inexperience hairstylist Mr.Spyros (1 star) today.
Mr.Spyros's rude and impatient attitude made us extremely DISAPPOINTED 😔 Such unprofessional service wasn't expected at this high rated salon. He couldn't accept customer's suggestion AT ALL. We weren't even requesting a big turnover, we only wanted our hair to be done SHORTER.
Before I could finish telling him what we want, he was pissed off and being disrespectful. Up to this point he was very impatient, I was too afraid of him to make another cut! (Oh lord, I just couldn't imagine what can a bad mood hairstylist will do with a client's hair)
We are (performers) artists as well, but Mr.Spyros do you think you can make a perfect piece of artwork with such innerself cultivation? I doubt it.
🙏🏻Here, we would like to thank you Mr. Kyo again. He saved the messed up work and made it into a great cut.
I would highly recommend Salon Adikt, BUT please choose the right hair dresser to prevent from unnecessary troubles.
🔹I apologized to Mr.Spyros for walkup and stayed nearby, I really couldn't help watching the haircut get any worse. I have not seen any hair stylist that'll swing the chair left-right more than seven times right at the beginning, that wasn't to show the client how's the cut but for his own sake & dropping electric hair shaver's clipper & trying to get a hair out of his eyes infront of a client & asking around where things are located. (I believe you need more training) You criticized me in the salon "You speak too much", but I have the right to speak and to...
Read moreI'm in Montreal for the summer, and I needed to dye my hair because my roots were showing. Based on reviews I choose this place.
My hair was dyed to a light brown/ golden shine color before but with washing it get red/orange-ish shine so I wanted to get rid of that. I explaind everything to the girl who took care of me, also that I don't want to go darker than my original hair in any case. She showed me photos, took the time to explain me things, what is really kind, but honestly I didn't understand why is it sounds so complicated..Anyway, I left the salon not that happy, with a dark chocolate brown hair, what is darker than my original hair, the only thing what I didn't want. The girl who dyed my hair warned me that it might turn out darker than I want but after few wash it will get lighter. But I wanted to be satisfied with my hair now because I'm going to an event, not after 2-3wash...of course it looks different in different lights but still, it's darker than I expected. It's a nice color but it doesn't feel good. Maybe it will be better after few washes as she said but I'm not happy now.
The place looks really nice and the products what they use are great quality and smell good, the staff is kind, although I didn't feel that the girl would be as professional as I expected based on the reviews. Maybe it's because I am used to something totally different in Europe (like other blow dry technique, using more products on my hair) Also, the girl who was washing and dying my hair, she wasn't hurting me, but deffinitely wasn't a pleasant feeling the way she did.
I have paid 155$ for all. Maybe I'll get used to the...
