I don't know about the morning experience, but the afternoon one is a real disappointment. They need to either close early if they cannot offer a range of different dessert options as seen in pictures, or to balance their dessert so their window is always full. Cause when we went in, only four cake desserts were shown, which 2 where with lemon - not many choices compared to the pictures I saw here...
Also, the place is so cramped, it's impossible to move without bumping into someone or something. It's definitely not the place to be during rush hours - I felt dizzy just walking-in.
Finally, the actual food itself is not bad, but not amazing - they do not add much sugar into their desserts making them in the end just taste pretty blend, but I guess there's a niche of people that would actually like that, but again if they were options, I could have maybe find something actually meant for me, someone who actually want intense and original flavors in their dessert and don't mind the extra sugar in it.
Drinks were good though, I really liked the limonade au yuzu et litchi, it was...

Extremely short staffed. Service is so slow. Line inside is suffocating. You don’t know where to wait for your drink. Students shouldn’t be studying in a place so busy. Enjoy your cake and coffee and leave the table to another paying customer. This is not a co-working space for the low price of a coffee and macaron. Disagreeable experience. We ate in our car.
All of the "desserts" were sold out. Only the strawberry shortcake was available and some croissants. Seriously, that absurd amount for a piece of sponge cake, whipped cream and a couple of strawberries! I don’t care that it’s "homemade". I care about the quality to price ratio. For that price, I’m expecting real desserts. Besides, I didn’t see any baker. Or chef. Or oven. Just a convenience store separated...
Read moreWhat a cozy little café! It’s a very popular place so the seats are often taken. They sell coffee and cake to go for those who can’t find a seat.
I tried their Hojicha Latte. It was very nice. I liked the fact that they didn’t put sugar in it. My niece had the Osmanthus Coffee Latte. It was so sweet that she could barely drink any of it. I guess that latte is for people with a sweet tooth. I loved that the lattes were served in nice vintage cups and saucers with a tiny golden spoon.
We also tried 3 different cakes. My favourite one was the taro cake. The best by far. The matcha basque cheesecake was very flavourful. You could really taste the matcha. However, it was kind of heavy so I didn’t finish it. The Thai tea chesnut cake was quite dry and we could barely taste the Thai tea. I don’t recommend that one. The prices were a bit high but I feel you pay for the vibe of the place. Many...
