Excited about a new sandwich shop on Parc, we tried Nita Tout Garni last week. I would say it was good but not amazing. I found that the grilled cheese sandwiches were on a bun type of bread that gets kinda hard when grilled. It didn't have that melt in your mouth mix of cheesiness and crispiness you'd get on a nice thick but light sourdough slice for example. The chicken salad sandwich was yummy and I really liked the bread it was on, but my husband and I both found it very mustardy for chicken salad and would have preferred a more classic deli style done well. We also tried the trout gravlax sandwich which was decent but very salty and vinegary. I got a creamy coleslaw on the side which I found quite good. The people working there were very nice and the takeout service was great. Also I had a walnut chocolate chip cookie and it was reeeeally good. I'd go there again just to get that cookie or some of their homemade bread. They bake the bread every day onsite. You see the staff preparing your sandwiches. The Tuna salad sandwich I had was good but the pickled cucumber stole the show. Crunchy and tasty.
