My 2nd time here and honestly I am really disappointed. Palgongtea isnt very consistent. I drank here once and I know for a fact that compared to other bubble tea stores Ive been to, they are apparently not generous with the amount of toppings. But this time, I have to say that they were stingy with tapioca given the price of the drink. I order 3 types of drink today, all super diluted. The attached photo is large palgongtea. Very little tapioca... And their cream cheese... the worst...I dont even taste anything... I had high expectation for this place cuz I really like their sesame milk tea the first time but... Better go back to Coco macchiato
Forgot to mention that their tapioca is kinda raw. They should cook it a bit longer. I shouldve just read Yelp reviews before...
Read moreI actually had high expectations and was left disappointed... I went there with 2 friends and got 5 drinks (including 2 free drinks). I asked for a drink with regular sugar and when I drank, it was not sweet at all. It was just plain milk tea with no sugar... One of my friends' drink was supposed to have less sugar but it was WAY too sweet. It was sweeter than the drink of my other friend who asked for more sugar... We actually took turns tasting eachother's drink and were all shocked. Other than that, the place looked super clean and the workers are all kind. I'm one of the people who passed by the place for months and was excited to see a new bubble tea place opening at MTL so I had really high expectations. Yes I was disappointed but I'm willing to come back and try...
Read moreI got to try out Palgong Korean Bubble tea on this rainy Halloween day. They have a very nice and clean store with very friendly staff. It’s nice to have a bubble tea shop in the area as there aren’t any yet.
Many choices of bubble tea with various toppings. They currently have a BOGO promotion for their opening, where you can get either a traditional milk tea or taro drink with toppings for free (add 1$ for a large) with the purchase of a drink at regular price. Here in the picture is the black sesame milk tea with soy milk and grass jelly and the taro drink with bubbles, both larges.
Palgong also offers cookie dough, Korean sushis and bowls, as well as Korean style macarons as part of their menu. I’ll definitely try those out in...
