We were seated and waited quite a while just to get water—no one brought us menus. Looking around, it became obvious: only one server was managing nearly half the patio, and several tables were waiting without service. After 20 minutes, we had to go find our waitress ourselves. We let her know we were regulars and didn’t need menus, and we placed our order right away—waiting any longer, especially with a young child, simply wasn’t an option.
Then… nothing. Over an hour passed—1 hour and 15 minutes—for pizza. No one checked in, no one communicated delays, and staff avoided eye contact. It wasn’t until we finally flagged someone down to ask how much longer that we received an apology—but no explanation, no gesture, not even a simple acknowledgment of the wait until that moment.
It was clear what was going on: only two servers for the entire patio, one hostess not helping with service, and a nonstop stream of Uber and takeout orders being prioritized over diners on-site. This was a serious failure in management judgment. They should have paused delivery orders or reduced patio capacity. Some guests actually left without even receiving water.

When I commented on that fact to the person "in charge" that night, he then added insult to injury by saying he had "investigated with his staff" and claimed they were only 5 minutes off schedule (whereas they had announced 30 minutes). Basically calling me a liar when I told him for how long we had really been there, I offered my timestamped ticket as a proof, to which he actually said "yes I would like to check"! (The ticket officially confirmed that we had been there for close to an hour, waiting outside for our pizzas to go, but he did not offer any other form of apology...) Oh and I forgot to mention that during the wait, after initial complaints about the delay, he graciously offered to make up for it with a glass... of water (no joke)! Quality control — The guy making pizzas pathetically wore a mask that didn’t cover his nose and hung off his upper lip while chatting with coworkers and prepping pizzas at the same time.

Food — The pizza was weak. I ordered three, and all three had overly burnt outer crusts and soggy undercooked centres. Not even close to meriting the $50+ price.
