Milkshake is more milk than Ice cream. I asked if they could add more ice cream and it came back with the same ratio. $9 cup of milk :/ Another time in winter I went close to close, and they allowed me to wait in line all the way until I got to the front only to tell me they were closed once I got to the counter with still 10 minutes left before close. The store was quiet and I was the last person in line at that point. I don't know why they didn't say something before letting me wait in line, they saw me come in and had plenty of time to tell me. Do the managers not pay them to clean up after close? One of the orange sorbets tastes like the orange concentrate from the can at the grocery store. I think this shows they aren't skimping on flavor for this one but it is really hard to eat. I've tried the vegan ice cream flavors and they are decent but often they run out without marking it on the board. Unfortunate after waiting in a long line for a flavor that isn't there. Too many bad experiences for the price. I won't be coming back...

The ice cream is delicious! But the lineups are always so long. I just waited a half hour for a cone. It would be great if they had 3 people scooping. During the pandemic, they had a nice system in place where there were 2 scoopers and a cashier at a window to take your order. They were really efficient. Maybe it’s the samples they give out that’s slowing the process nowadays. Next time, I’ll buy a container to go to skip the line. They only accept cash and debit, which is fine. To those complaining of not being able to pay credit, just put your debit on your phone and you can tap just like a credit card. It ain’t the end of the world if you can’t pay credit. If you have no cash in your bank account, then I don’t know how you can survive being...

I was a steady customer for four years (even going in the winter when I had a choco-orange craving) and going there almost every Saturday during the summer, however, on my first visit of this season I was informed that they had stopped accepting credit card as a form of payment, they explained it’s about supporting a small business, but in the last four years they never had an issue with us paying with a credit card, maybe there’s new management or they want to try a cash / debit only like other popular ice cream shops in Montreal, but when you lose loyal customers for this, I am not sure this is the correct decision, wish you the best but unfortunately, no more Bilboquet...

A must-stop every time I go to Montreal. The ice creams and the sorbets are excellent, and soooo many flavours to choose from! The shop itself is super-cute, with a decent amount of outside seating so you can sit down and enjoy. On nice days there’s usually a line up, but it moves quickly. Today’s choices were a rich and fudgy 50% chocolate ice cream and a very refreshing pear sorbet. Perfection.

I have loved this ice cream place since arriving to Montreal three years ago. We come here at least once a week and we miss it during the winter breaks. Today, we came for ice cream dessert to celebrate the birthday of a good friend. Best place to do so! Good atmosphere, amazing service and, of course the best ice creams of Montreal. Thanks Nik,Eliza and Zineeb for the service.

Delicious ice cream and great location! Lots of flavors also they serve crepes! Their place is very comfortable inside and outside. They are usually busy but when I arrived was quite good. My praline ice cream was good not too sweet and the employee was friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.
