Le Poke Station (Décarie, VSL) — Restaurant in Montreal

I arrived on a Friday night to get food for 2. Business was already slow, as I came to see if it would be worthwhile ordering directly with them instead of with Uber. The manager or owner said it def was because there would be more protein and all. Something along the lines of “With Uber, the amount of fish would be deduced to half for buy one get one free deals because we are forced to do it with Uber”. Finally, a deal is reached where buying two poke bowls would get an appetizer as part of the promotions. On the menu it shows that there are 3 shrimp tempura for the appetizer. After getting home to open the box, there’s only 2. Even though it’s a minor detail, nothing about this was mentioned upfront. When I called back to inquire about it, he said he mentioned that it was 2 for a free appetizer but he never did. Next, for the poke bowl sizes, protein was not much more at all. Just enough to reach the lid of an already downsized cardboard bowl. The worst of it all is to realize that what was supposed to be the lobster bowl is full of imitation crab instead any substantial lobster. A real scam I say. The Sama bowl was alright. Irresponsible business. Scam promotion.

June 20th, we made a big order between coworkers to get some poke bowls for a birthday celebration at work, via doordash, using the then available promotion of 2 for 1. Picked up the order and realized we were charged full price.

The following days, calls were made with doordash customer service and even when escalated to managers, they had no way to resolve the problem or issue the amount overcharged.

Called the restaurant directly on june 26th and spoke with an employee named Elissa or Eliza. She was able to pull our order in the system and agreed it was a mistake. She asked me to leave my name and number and that a manager will call me back to resolve the issue. We are july 9th and nobody has bothered to call back. 👍🏻

We picked this place out of so many restaurant options, because the 2 for 1 promotion was able to accomodate some of the coworkers smaller lunch budget. This ended up being...

My dad recommend us to try this Poke Station location so we went there with the family to order 7 pokebowls.

The place in there is a nice decoration and is pretty quiet! Unfortunately, they didn't had place to sit in so we ate in our car instead !

The service was pretty slow, took a lot of time for us receiving our food we went in a Sunday lunch time but they got our big orders correctly so it's all good 👍(was only 1 worker there)

This Poke Station location in term of food is good ! Had no issue or anything 💕
