We went for my moms bday, 5 people, 2 dogs. The place is GORGEOUS omg. I’ve waited long enough to go to a pet friendly place in MTL not that many, so my expectations were really HIGH. The food is amazing, the service just AWFUL! I’m giving 3 starts cause the food worth it and the place but the rest needs improvements 1. The music TOO LAUD! And only reggeaton! I mean we are not in a disco i don’t expect quite but some dogs may be anxious so please select a better music 2. The barista: the slowest one I’ve seen for a coffee maker. Impossible to get your coffee in less than 15 min 3. The food take +- 30 min to arrive, and that is if you are lucky enough for the waitresses to see you, grab your order or remember to actually order it to the kitchen. 4. Price wise is ok the general for the standard brunch in MTL. Around $18 - $22 per plate but the portions and flavour really good. Finally we ordered all our food and we ate, one of my friends was really hungry and he order another plate and a cinnamon sticks for the table and those NEVER arrived, also a golden coffee and a cappuccino. We decided after 30min to take the bill and leave. And guess what? The bill came with a charge extra for service for groups of 6 or more. We were shocked! We asked the manager and she removed that and while that was happening, the chef came and bring the pulled pork sandwich we ordered that they forgot. She apologize and mentioned service didn’t even send it to the kitchen. Definitely MANAGEMENT ISSUES! They said they were short staff, well I saw them talking sometimes and not moving fast enough. Plus, I don’t think is enough excuse. If you don’t have enough people then don’t open all your tables. Is better to have happy customers well served, than making a revenue on people that don’t want to come back again. I totally think this place has potential, but it needs a lot of revision to do for improvement. Good luck 😄

What a gem! Restaurant - Standard size tables with hoops to attach your pup and plenty of parking in front which is much appreciated, especially in the winter! Lovely staff and clean facilities. Food - selection is limited but creative, beautifully plated, and an explosion of flavors at every bite. The pup menu has great variety, our pup tried the turkey meatloaf, which disappeared in 30.5 seconds! We took the poached eggs and chorizo grilled cheese with french toast sticks to share. Everything was perfect with creative pairings/sauces , i.e. creamy jalapenos sauce to the chorizo grilled cheese, just try it!! Drinks - we tried the classic latte and the butterfly pea flower latte, which was a delicious discovery! The foam was so dense, rich, and creamy and the indigo colored latte was perfectly sweetened and creamy. Pups - all tables had brought their fur babies that day and the dogs were so well-behaved. The hoop also allows to keep them close to your table. The staff had brought water bowl to each pup client. Price - I disagree that the price is too high.. any reputable brunch establishments of the same quality is price the same if not higher, and pets are most definitely not welcome. Each plate is around $18-$20 and latte $3-7. We had leftovers to bring home as well. I would try their special items and it's def worth your money!! Surroundings - We took a walk along the canal after brunch and the day was just perfect. Please support this local business; the experience they offer, in both culinary skills and pet-friendliness, they really deserve it!

I am revoking my past 5-star reviews and praising comments for this business. The management has no care or empathy for their clients. They are money-hungry, rob you, and do not perform services that you pay for. I had a legitimate complaint and misunderstanding which the management did not care for, after using their services, having a gathering there with family and spending a lot of money there. They do not appreciate your business. I do not mind paying expensive fees for services, but I refuse not to provide feedback when the service is not supplied despite me paying for service anyway; they banned me and my family and refused to give future care to our dog due to a justified, legitimate complaint I made in which the owner of the business never contacted me after I requested to deal with the issue. If they cared about their clients and our dogs, they would have seen the potential business and care they could have offered our dog for the future, including a 5-star review I left, which they genuinely do not appreciate due to being banned after a dispute. Despite how awful the services were, they also automatically apply a 15 to 20 % tip without your consent. My dispute was over cake-cutting fees for bringing our cake for a birthday party for our guests, which we cut and paid 40$ for them to cut and serve when we did it ourselves. They also did not care or appreciate my comment about the staff receiving an automatic 20% tip when they did not deserve it; the tip did not match the services provided. We paid for the service and the tips anyhow; instead of leaving a negative review after giving a 5-star review of past good services offered, I verbally mentioned my concerns to management, which resulted in my family and well-behaved Dog being banned. They do not empathize with negative feedback or put themselves in their client's shoes. They also don't care for their staff if they are underpaying them so much that they must ensure a massive tip is charged. They do not deserve our money or our loyalty. I gave the business plenty of chances to work together and apologized to them for a misunderstanding about paying for fees ahead of time, but they refused to work together or see a client eye to eye. Do not let their future reply to this review fool you; I am just advising that they genuinely do not care and think twice before providing any negative comment, feedback, or even a suggestion. I am not saying that thief staff always provide bad services; I empathize with and appreciate them. The daycare and grooming services are indeed outstanding. However, I will not reward the owners who take advantage of clients and their staff. The cafe needs to work on its services. Go there for a meal with your dog or coffee. Still, I do not suggest using this venue as a party gathering as the staff is not equipped or trained to provide dedicated service to family gatherings that cater to your needs. The cafe staff and owners do not realize the investment clients make in their business and place of work by spending their...

Disappointing Return Visit – Poor Service

We visited this café nearly two months ago and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was charming, perfect for brunch with our dog, and while the food was a bit pricey, it was well within the typical Montréal range.

Unfortunately, today’s visit was a completely different experience—and not in a good way.

Despite having a reservation, we were asked by a male waiter (longer, light hair) to wait on the side while our table was being prepared. That was fine. However, the table—though empty—sat uncleaned for 15 minutes while staff attended to other guests. We patiently waited nearby, but there was no acknowledgment or update. Again, we completely understood, and we were just hanging out mingling with other dogs.

I eventually made eye contact with the same waiter… kind of wondering what was happening with the table. The waiter looked at me with a mix of contempt and irritation—like a silent “What do you want now?” It was unprofessional and completely uncalled for” —not the kind of tone or attitude you’d expect in any customer-facing setting. Surprised (and with an uncomfortable smile), I simply said, “Well… we just…?” Not even letting me finish my sentence, he responded sharply, “Ben, quoi? qu’est-ce que tu veux?” It was rude, and frankly quite shocking. We were politely waiting on the side, and we did not deserve that type of response in any way.

I reminded him that he was the one who asked us to wait for our table earlier— he just said ah! OK - still no apology or explanation. It was disappointing and honestly super disrespectful.

Eventually, another staff member showed ya the table—the same still-dirty table. A bottle of water was placed on it, but no glasses. We waited another 10 minutes before anyone took our order.

The food didn’t make up for the poor service. My dish and coffee were underwhelming (though my partner did enjoy his pancakes). Our dog’s order was also forgotten until we reminded them.

On a positive note, the new waitress who eventually served us was kind and clearly trying her best, which we appreciated.

Sadly, this return visit left us with a bad impression. We won’t be coming back. A final note to that waiter: everyone has tough days, as I’ve worked many years in the restaurant business, I can very well understand a busy morning or fast paced environment…and I never make reviews like this… but this behaviour today got under my skin. Basic respect goes a long way. No one should leave a café feeling dismissed or disrespected. Very...
