Went here for dinner (with managed expectations as a vegetarian), however, it was a quite an unfortunate experience. I tried ordering their Pad Thai with no fish sauce, however, I was informed that the fish sauce had been pre-mixed and couldn't be removed. No worries! I totally understand pre-mixing sauces esp in a large restaurant setting. However, after asking if there were any dishes without fish sauce, they said that everything on their menu had fish sauce. That was a bummer, but even more so was the waitress insisting I wouldn't be able to taste it and it would be fine (even after informing her I'm a vegetarian and fish sauce makes me sick). I instead ordered the veggie dumplings (after rejecting their multiple offers to order poke because see earlier: I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat fish). When the dumplings arrived, they were in fact chicken dumplings so we called the waitress over again, who seeming shocked went "oh you wanted the vegetable dumplings?" I re-ordered the vegetable dumplings, except this time when they arrived they still had chicken in them. After a back and forth with the kitchen who informed me that they looked at the ingredients on the back of the freezer bag and there should not be meat in them, but that there was, I ordered a fried egg and left. The $22 bill for an unsalted fried egg and un-eaten dumplings was definitely not my favorite part...

We were a group of five sitting outside. After placing our orders, some of the food was brought within a reasonable amount of time, however, it took about at least an hour for the rest of us to get what we ordered.
We tried to be very patient but, after asking several times, the server kept saying that there was nothing that they could do because their chef couldn’t make the food any faster.
However, we kept seeing delivery companies and take-outs going in and out with bags of food.
Eventually, the server came out and offered us a package of Mochi and free sodas, which we pretty much refused.
At that point, none of us had touched the food that was already on the table as courtesy to the rest so, technically, we were more than entitled to stand up and leave.
If they cannot handle the volume of carry out orders then, they shouldn’t be sitting and neglecting customers half way their service.
Anyway, our friend who brought us there insisted us to stay after speaking to the manager again and, eventually, we got the rest of food.
Was it worth the wait? Certainly not! It was just good take-out sushi, which was what we should have done...
Read moreGreat decor but the food is bad.
Ordered the table d'hôte thinking it would be filling but the portions were too small for the price point.
Appetizer
Miso soup was ok
Cold entree
The sushis were drenched in sauce. One in wakfu sauce and the other in some sweet sauce for dumplings. Also the sushis were cut unevenly and were too big to fit a piece in our mouths.
Hot entree
2 very small bows of rice with a half a cutlet of dry chicken breast and the other with 3 small pieces of seared salmon. It looked like it was salmon for their nigiris.
When we started eating the rice was wet and unedible. I told our waitress in vietnamese about the problem. And she said she would tell the chefs about it. Without giving us any compensation for the poor food quality.
Desert
Fried ice cream, which was ok.
We had 1 bowl for 2 and it was complicated to eat with spoons.
Takeaways
1- You should leave the option to use those sauces or not because not everyone likes them. 2- Having wet mushy rice in a sushi restaurant is simply unacceptable and should've never have left the kitchen. If it arises again give something out to compensate.
Tldr: overpriced...
