Taverne Cobra — Restaurant in Montreal

One of the bartender is not nice. He ignores every customer he doesn’t find attractive and only serves “hot girls” who look young and flirt with him. He saw me wave at him and he dismissed me twice pretending he was busy and then went on to serve 2 pretty girls who looked like instagram models. His colleague thankfully was nice and took my order. Also, the “dj” who controls the order of who goes up on stage for karaoke pretended that there was a bug in his computer system and that is the reason my song request didn’t go through. I put my request up at 10pm and at 2h40am i still didnt get to go. I asked my friend who is a regular 5 times to go check if my song was on the list and he said i was, but my turn never came. My friend is a regular there and he admitted that if you buy shots to the employees there, they will prioritize you to go directly on stage and go...

Well there are some really fun aspects to this bar. The decor is nice, the song list is great, the ambiance is definitely there, and the mc was amazing. But our songs never played, even though we were there at the beginning of the night. Our friend checked with the dj what was up with our songs, but they just never went into their system. The dj asked us to put them again, which was nice of him, but I mean, we were only able to sing one within our group of friends even by getting there early. I don't know if the system is new, but it was very disappointing. Moreover the place gets so cramped that it gets impossible to dance and move a little. Which is also frustrating at some point. So in the end it was fun but not a really fulfilling...

I wish I could give 0 stars! This night could not have been worse. First thing, I order a drink for me, then a minute later, I order one for my friend. The bar man in charge tonight between midnight and closing yells at me for not ordering both drinks at the same time.

Then some time later, I'm dancing, having a good time, no different from the other people, and the barman tells me to get down. Then a few minutes later, the bouncer hits me and man handles me and throws me outside. I have photos below of what he did to me.
