I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the Tim Hortons located in the mall, and I must say that it was an incredibly disappointing visit. From start to finish, my encounter with this establishment left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my negative experience.
First and foremost, the customer service at this Tim Hortons is nothing short of abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested, and their lack of attentiveness was evident. Despite there being a constant line, it felt as if they were moving in slow motion. I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time just to place my order, which is unacceptable, especially during peak hours.
But even worse than the service was the quality of the food. Without fail, the food at this Tim Hortons was consistently disgusting. I've never encountered such consistently poorly prepared items. Whether it was the donuts, sandwiches, or even the supposedly simple breakfast items, everything was a disappointment. The lack of freshness and the unappetizing appearance made it difficult to enjoy anything I ordered.
Additionally, the coffee, supposedly one of Tim Hortons' main attractions, was always half done. It seemed as though the employees couldn't be bothered to make a decent cup of coffee. It was consistently weak and lacking in flavor. I could have made a better cup at home using instant coffee.
However, the pinnacle of my disappointment came during my most recent visit when I decided to order a soup. What arrived was far from appetizing. The soup looked and tasted like vomit-like jelly, with visible scraps and an unappealing texture. It was an absolute disgrace and left me feeling sickened and unsatisfied.
Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the Tim Hortons in the mall. The combination of terrible customer service, consistently subpar food quality, poorly made coffee, and the downright revolting soup I received makes this location a place I will never visit again. I urge others to steer clear of this establishment and find a different option if they want a pleasant...
Read moreEvery time I go there, because I work in the mall and need coffee before work, I know it will take an eternity to get what I want. May it be one worker or multiple workers they always take over 10-20 minutes, no matter if there are people in front of me or not to get a coffee.
For information, I used to work at another tim Hortons a couple years ago. This would’ve never passed as time to serve a clients there and I would’ve been reprimanded for not providing the service to the standards we were held to. (The standards are in place so that your experience is similar no matter which tim Horton you go to)
Fist of all they often are not wearing their hair net, and I have gotten coffee with cream that had bits in it at this location before and once when I got food I didn’t get what I ordered and couldn’t go back to change it as I was already at work.
I have also waited for them to finish their conversations, while me and other clients were waiting to be served for several minutes. I get talking with coworkers, joking around, etc, I did it/do it but I always provided service at the same time when I worked there and in my current job we pause our conversations when needed.
This has also happened in the past: Them taking my order (a coffee) and then me waiting because they start having a conversation instead of making my coffee while talking, Im happy they get along, have conversations while they do it makes no difference to me but they put everything on pause to have a conversation and then serve us is an issue when I have to wait for so long.
Honestly if you want quick service go to cafe...
Read moreTerrible experience every time I go. Everytime I order something, the staff seems to do everything but make my order. Leaving me waiting 15-20 minutes for a sandwich or a coffee. Not to mention, every item I have ever ordered from there that is bread, is BURNT. From BLTs to crispy sandwiches. They’re burnt and cold every time. Another thing to mention, the girl who makes the sandwiches does not know what she’s doing. All I ordered the other day was a classic sandwich wrap with no tomatoes, and she argued back and forth that the wrap is ranch sauce and not mayonnaise. When I politely told her that it’s not, she yelled and argued that I was in the wrong and that I don’t know what I wanted.
I worked at a Tim Hortons before. The blatant disrespect is insane. I don’t understand how there hasn’t been action taken to correct this behaviour. Because if I acted this way at work it would not fly. And then after all this, they have the audacity to ask to leave a google review..yikes..
Never coming back, and I respectfully hope this location...
