If you ever find yourself in Jasper and just have to have Korean food then this is the place...well its the only place. Actually was surprised Jasper had a Korean restaurant. Didn't know what to expect but took one for the team. Restaurant is small but neat. As other reviewers have mentioned the ban chan's are ala carte. Went for value and the wife and I had the meal for two for $42 CDN. For this you get fried mandoo, which was tasty, crispy and the sauce wasn't fancy but worked well. Second course was an udon style soup. Broth was a bit heavy on the black pepper but warm and not too salty. The vegetables in the udon soup were somewhat non-standard. Head cabbage, carrots, mushroom, broccoli. Must be tough to get produce to the middle of a national park. Next came the main dishes. Beef stir-fry and chicken stir-fry. Thought it was going to be bulgogi and chicken bulgogi but no, stir-fry and with the same vegetables as the udon soup. Deja vu. Service was attentive and given the location I think they did okay. If there is a next time I'd go with ordering off the menu. The more traditional dishes that other patrons were eating looked better.

We were so excited to find a Korean restaurant in Jasper, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The food was not as authentic as we had hoped, and to our surprise, this was the first Korean restaurant we’ve ever been to that charged extra for side dishes (banchan). The biggest letdown, however, was the service and organization. It was clear the restaurant couldn’t handle the number of guests they were accepting. After placing our order, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive, and the dishes for our group of three were served more than 15 minutes apart. It turned into a long, frustrating dinner. The servers seemed overwhelmed, rushing around the restaurant while continuing to seat more customers even though they couldn’t keep up with the orders. To top it off, the portion sizes were very small, especially considering the prices and wait time. Overall, a very disappointing experience—we wouldn’t return.

In a town where its geography and dependence allows businesses to price gauge tourists, this small Korean restaurant hidden a few blocks away from Jasper's main street (Connaught Drive) does not disappoint. While the atmosphere inside is unprovacitive, the presentation and taste of the food makes up for it. They serve authentic Korean cuisine, including Korean BBQ on a sizzling hot plate (shaped like a cow). Seriously, the presentation is "Instagram-able." The portion sizes are very reasonable for the price you pay. You can expect to spend around $30-35 CAD per person (food and drink included), if you're not craving for appetizers first. The house wine, local beer selection, and green tea is excellent, and you can choose from a variety of dishes using beef, pork, chicken, fish, and squid. This restaurant was recommended to me by my guide while visiting the Columbia Icefields. Was a great dining experience!

I was really craving Asian food after traveling through Banff and jasper for a few days and this was one of the few places that I came across. Prices are definitely up there compared to the Korean restaurants I’m used to, but understandable given the location. I ordered the dinner for 2, some other reviews was saying it’s enough for 3 people, but personally I found the portions to be really small, barely enough to feed 2 adults if you’re hungry, and if you have a bigger appetite, it might just be enough for 1 person. I thought the set was supposed to be 2 regular sized portions of the bulgogi and chicken, but based on the portion, it seems like they only gave maybe half a portion each of the regular portion if you were to order them separately. Granted I’ve never ordered them separately before so take this with a grain of salt, but based on other pictures I’ve seen it seems to be that Way. So just keep this in mind if you’re thinking of ordering this as a “value deal”. Also there wasn’t that much noodles in the noodle soup. Taste wise, I did enjoy the food but it’s probably due to the fact that I haven’t had Asian food for a while out here. It’s not bad, but definitely far from authentic Korean food I’ve had elsewhere. The waitresses were all quite nice, and if you’re planning on coming here, I passed by on the weekend for dinner and it was very crowded, but when I went to get takeout on a Monday night it wasn’t too packed at all. Overall this will do the trick if you’re also craving Korean food and in the area, just don’t set your expectations high, I think it’s still enjoyable, just a bit hard to justify the price for...

My wife has zero tolerance of spicy food. My wife picked the non-spice Udon soup dish and emphasized that we don’t want any spice in food. When the food came up, My wife tried a few mouth but could not continue because the food was spicy. There were no chili spice but pepper spice. We told the waitress and decided to keep the same order but let chef to make another bowl. After I and my two other friends finished our dishes, the Udon soup finally came. My wife tasted and it was still spicy but more salty. After further examination, we noticed that the material was not new but what was left in my wife’s originally bowl. It appeared that the chef just poured out the original soup and add new soup without pepper. To make up the flavor, the chef added some salty ingredients. The leftover black pepper flavor made the food still spicy. We asked the waitress if everything was new and there was any spicy ingredients. The waitress said it was new and no spicy at all.

Reason for lowest rating: The chef doesn’t know spicy ingredients include chili but also petter (black/white). Curry is also spicy but it is not use in Korean restaurant so it is irrelevant here. The waitress lied by saying the food was made with new food source without checking with chef. The chef tried to get over by using original material. The chef took too long to recook and failed to...

Long long long waiting time!! Was here not too long ago and waited around 2 hours for a seat. It’s extremely packed, a lot of people couldn’t get a seat after hours of waiting, saw many customers getting upset and leaving. We drove 4-5 hours to get to Jasper so at this point we would just wait as we were too famished to keep finding other spots. We got two separate tables because we came in a group of 8. We already told them from the beginning that they could separate us in any arrangement but still took 2 hours of wait.

Food was okay, is it good? It’s not bad. Probably good if you live in Jasper but coming from a big city with thousands of Korean restaurants, this is not the best. I enjoyed the food because I was starving but definitely did not enjoy the wait, it almost made me starve to death. Our table was served quite fast with all the food, we ordered as soon as we sat. The other table ordered late and they got their food after we finished eating + 20 mins of waiting. Their service is so slow, they need to hire more people if they knew it’s going to be that busy. I will never go back to Jasper because of this. Too many tourist and the places here doesn’t seem to care that tourist is just gonna pile up in front of their front doors trying to get a seat to eat. On top of that everything is...
