My husband and I spent three nights, mid-week, at the Park Place Inn in early November 2024. I’ve been to Jasper numerous times, but had no idea this cute little inn was right in the heart of town! I phoned only a few days in advance to reserve and the person who helped me was super friendly, chill and helpful. We basically had a choice of any room we wanted and chose a suite on the main floor. There are two beside each other and we got to decide when we arrived which one we preferred.
Ken was working most of the time when we were there and we loved him. Warm and a great conversationalist, happy to talk about Jasper, including the devastating fire a few months earlier. We ended up staying in Suite A and we’re overall happy with it. It’s huge! Extra bug king sized bed, jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, an additional seating area, and a shower with five shower heads. There were a couple small maintenance issues, but nothing major, and dealt with right away. The location cannot be best if you want to be in town, literally mere steps away from restaurants and shopping. There is also underground parking for guests.
The shoulder season rates were incredible! Even the high season rates are really reasonable. I would love to stay here again and try out a heritage room on the second floor.
JULY 2025 UPDATE: Stayed in Room 11 for two nights. While the room was quite large and comfortable, it is right across from the ice machine. It was running all night, crushing ice, repeatedly waking me up. I had to go to the pharmacy to buy earplugs for my second night. Still love this hotel and will stay again, but the rate for rooms 1 and 11 should be lower due to this. Room 11 is also shockingly close to the...
Read moreThis place is a gem! One of our favourite places of our whole stay. |It's on one of the main streets in Jasper. The entrance is on street level and then you go upstairs (there's an elevator) to reception and most rooms are on that floor. It's decorated really tastefully and the employees are personable and helpful and professional. The room was the best part. We stayed in Room 8, with 2 queens. The room was so nice, with real furniture and nice touches everywhere. The beds and pillows were comfy. There's a mountain view, but you have to look past the back alley way, which is fine. It was quiet as well.|The parking is free, but it's underground, and it's a little cramped in there if it's full, so I would say that's the worst part, but it wasn't that bad. Free parking! There is a loading area right in front of the hotel so park there first and drop your bags off and check in and then they'll give you your room card, which will give you parking garage access. I have read a few reviews complaining about this parking garage, but it's actually not that big a deal. I'm not sure what people expect. |The price point was excellent. Perhaps it was just outside the summer pricing season, or perhaps also they are still trying to drum up business from the wildfire closures, but the price was very reasonable for the quality and service provided. I would definitely stay here again....
Read moreWe stayed at the Jasper Park Inn for four nights in July 2024. The Inn is located on the main street of Jasper, within feet of amazing restaurants and shops. Yes, there is free - off street secure parking in the rear of the Inn. The front desk is located on the second floor- there is an elevator and stairs just inside the doors. We were always able to reach someone in minutes no matter when we needed assistance. We booked one of the suites- and were pleasantly surprised at how large the suite was, it ran the length of the building from the front to the rear of the building. The bedding was comfortable, there is a nice sitting area with a fireplace that can be closed off from the sleeping area. The star of the suite is the bathroom. The shower is walk in- and very large with multiple shower heads and sprayers. The Inn also offers daily cleaning service, so the room was always spotless. Of note, the suites are located on the first floor and while we heard zero outside noise, there were a few times when guests were very loud outside our room when waiting for the elevator. The area feels safe and while busy during the dinner hours, the rest of the time Patricia street was pretty calm. I would highly recommend staying with the Park Place Inn anytime you are in Jasper. They were the surprise find of our 12 day trip to the...
